This dog will be held for the state-mandated stray hold before he is eligible for adoption. This dog was found on the 600th block of Lincoln Avenue Southeast in the city of St. Cloud. Impound fees must be paid to the city of St. Cloud and a receipt must be shown at the shelter before he can be reclaimed. Additional fees at the shelter may apply. Owners reclaiming their dog must bring a leash and collar or purchase them from our Re-Tail Shoppe. Adoption holds will be accepted in the event this pet is not claimed by an owner by calling 320-252-0896.

I came from Garland Texas under the hospice program. But after addressing his medical concerns, I am becoming a senior adoptable. A few words from his foster: Yoko is a senior dog that came from Texas in July. He is vision impaired, sweet and smart. He is housebroken and does well on a schedule. Mostly after he eats he needs to go out fairly soon after. He does get daily eye drops and can give some tips to give them easy. He is a good sleeper. He can go up the stairs with no problems, is best to be carried down stairs and he has learned to navigate his way around really well with very limited eye sight. A baby gate would be best to limit his space if you have stairs just to start and he would do fine with being kenneled when gone. He is turning into a happy little dog and likes going on short walks. He loves to wander around and sniff everything. He really is a special dog. A quiet home without alot of excitement is best and does like his own space especially when he is sleeping. He is just a sweet, mellow boy who gets along with both my dog and cat so no issues if there are other animals in the house. Medical Bio/From the Vet: We are so excited that Yoko is ready to find his forever home. He has been in rescue for a little over 1 year, and in that time we have been able to successfully manage his medical conditions. He had glaucoma in both eyes, one of which could not be successfully managed, so treatment was removal of the eye. His left eye is managed on two medicated eye drops. His hyperthyroidism is well managed on an oral medication called Levothyroxine. Bloodwork is recommended every 6 months while on this medication to account for any dose changes that may be needed. He has been started on 2 different anti-anxiety medications to help with some fear based reactivity. The estimated total cost of Yoko's medications would be approximately $50. We hope that we can find him a perfect spot to land to be spoiled and loved in his golden years!

**Meet Lulu & Penny – A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Next Chapter** Lulu, a sweet Bichon Frise, and Penny, an adorable Poodle, are a bonded pair of approximately 10-year-old best friends. After their beloved owner passed away, they found themselves looking for a new family to love together. These girls share a beautiful bond. Penny is blind due to untreated dry eye syndrome and receives eye drops three times a day. Lulu has cataracts with decreased vision, but she naturally helps guide Penny around and has become her little "seeing-eye dog." You'll often find them cuddled up together, whether they're napping, relaxing, or sleeping side by side. While in our care, both girls had dental cleanings with multiple extractions and had several lumps removed. Each has just three teeth remaining, but don't worry—they eat just fine! Penny is a total lovebug who enjoys curling up on your lap and soaking up attention. Even though she's blind, she quickly learns her surroundings and confidently navigates the house. Lulu is a gentle, affectionate girl who enjoys being close to her people and blossoms with a little time and reassurance. Both girls are crate trained and leash trained. They feel most comfortable sleeping in an x-pen with their crate and soft beds available. They're doing well with potty training and happily go outside, but like many dogs adjusting to a new home, they may have occasional accidents during the transition. Meet Diesel! 🐾❤️ This handsome 5-year-old Mini Poodle is a breeder release who is learning what it means to be a beloved companion. He has only been in rescue for a couple of weeks, and while he is still unsure about many parts of this big new world, he is slowly beginning to show his sweet personality. Like many breeder-release dogs, Diesel needs time, patience, and a gentle approach as he learns that home life and human companionship can be safe and wonderful. He may still choose to give himself some space when approached, but he is also starting to have moments where he allows his foster mom to pick him up, hold him briefly, and enjoy gentle pets and scratches. These small steps are huge milestones, and with continued positive experiences, he will continue to build confidence and trust. Diesel gets along well with other dogs and peacefully ignores the cat in his foster home. Being around calm, respectful dogs has helped him continue adjusting to life in a home and learning new routines. Given where Diesel is in his confidence-building journey, having another friendly, confident dog in his forever home would likely be a wonderful benefit for him as he continues learning and adjusting. He is working on potty training and is learning the routines of living in a home. He does not enjoy being enclosed in a kennel, but he does see it as a safe space and will choose to go inside on his own when he needs a quiet place to decompress or take a break. Because of his breeder-release background, Diesel is not leash trained. Because he is still learning to trust and adjust to his new surroundings, he will need a patient family with an above-ground, securely fenced-in yard where he can feel safe while continuing to blossom.
