She was left in the middle of the night. Alone in the dark, just hoping someone would come. When help finally arrived, NUGGET was barely there at all — a frail, tiny body hidden underneath layers of smelly, matted fur. You could feel every bone. You could smell how long she had been neglected. She had every reason to be afraid of people. But NUGGET had other plans. The very next day, she arrived at her foster home. She didn't cower in the corner. She didn't hide. She walked right up and gave kisses — big, grateful, thank-you-for-saving-me kisses.That is who NUGGET is.
In just a short time with love, good food, and gentle care, she has started to thrive. Her tiny body is finally starting to fill out. Her coat is coming back. Her eyes are brighter. And her fabulous personality? It's shining through more every single day.
She is sweet. She is resilient. She is funny and affectionate and full of life — a little soul who refuses to let her past define her. One look at that precious face and you will fall in love. It's impossible not to.
