Iggy is an approx 5-year-old male mini poodle (about 15 lbs) who was found as a stray in Philadelphia, and sadly no one was looking for him or ever came for him. He came into rescue matted and dirty, but he is such a sweet boy and his personality has started to shine. This sweet boy is: Good with other dogs Good with cats Unsure about young kids (older, respectful children may be best!) Iggy is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly — he loves being outside, enjoys his walks, and has that fun, energetic sparkle… but once he gets his wiggles out, he’s happiest curled up right next to you for cuddles. He also does great with: Cuddling Treats & pets Puppy pads Sleeping all night in his crate Important note: Iggy will growl at other dogs sometimes when they come near his food, but his foster feeds him separately from the other dogs, and this simple routine works well. Leo's days as a breeding dog are over and he's ready to become a much loved family companion. At just six years old and six pounds he has no trust issues and we have found he loves females! He is initially shy but does very well with men, women and kids (no toddlers please, because of his size). Leo has not been housetrained since his only job was to produce puppies, so we have to give him some slack in that area. He uses a weewee pad but often misses his mark. If he is to relieve himself outside he will require a small fenced area. He does not need much exercise and is perfectly fine as an indoor dog. Leo freezes while on a leash so that's another reason why a small fenced area will work best for him. Leo's ideal home is one where someone is home most of the day, a small fenced area if he is to be outside, and lots of patience. He is well worth it. We would like a home near the New Jersey shore.
