Story
Meet Xena, a 2-year-old schnauzer–poodle mix weighing in at about 25 pounds of pure, quirky chaos. She has the most expressive ears you’ve ever seen—she’s truly all ears! Xena is extremely playful—capital E, capital P—and firmly believes life is one long game that everyone else should also be participating in immediately. She has never met a “rest time” she couldn’t challenge, question, or completely ignore. Naps are optional. Playtime is mandatory. She does great with other dogs who are equally energetic, because when it comes to playing, Xena has absolutely no mercy. Tug, chase, wrestle, repeat—she’s in it to win it (and then ask for a rematch). A laid-back dog need not apply, but a high-energy playmate will find their match in her. If you’re looking for a fun, lively, endlessly entertaining companion who will keep you laughing and moving, Xena is ready to report for duty—squeaky toys encouraged. Xena is wonderful with cats, kids, and other dogs. She loves making friends, exploring, and being part of the action. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. Story
Kay is a 14-month-old, 16-pound mini poodle who is looking for her furever home. She is sweet, snuggly, and playful. Kay can be shy when first meeting new people but give her a little time and patience and her loving personality truly shines through. Once she warms up, she becomes a devoted cuddle buddy who loves being close to her people. She wants to be with her foster mom all the time! She gets along quite well with the resident dogs and cat. Kay is fully house-broken, well- behaved in the home, and is making excellent progress walking on leash. She grew up with kids of all ages so can interact with them as well. She already knows her basic commands — sit, stay, and come — and she absolutely loves playing fetch! One of Kay’s most unique features is her one beautiful multi-colored eye, with both blue and brown. Her other eye is all brown. Kay is not a fan of her crate but crate training is in progress, and she will need to continue this training in her new home with patience and consistency. Kay is incredibly smart and will need a daily walk and puzzle toys to maintain her good behavior. She is also used to a fenced in yard where she can play and run. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate, playful companion who will reward you with endless snuggles, Kay may be the perfect match for you. Ag/Mkt RR 363

Story
Hugo ‍3 years old Miniature poodle14.5 lbsNeutered male  Hugo came to us last week, completely shut down, scared, and we weren’t sure what to expect.  Fast forward a week, Hugo is coming out of his shell. He enjoys laying in bed, the company of other dogs, and pets from his foster mom.  Hugo is crate trained, working on house training - if kept on a routine he does not have accidents, walks ok on a leash (needs some time to get more comfortable). He is friendly to dogs of all sizes and thrives with their companionship. So much so that he requires another dog in his adoptive home at this time. A fence is not required. We do recommend children 5+. Applications for adoption can be completed on our website: allieandpalsrescue.org/adopt ##2615181##

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This is really a darling little guy, just so happy all the time.  MIKE is 2 years old and 17 pounds.  He for sure has poodle in him with his very soft and curly hair but I am not sure what else he is mixed with buy it sure makes a wonderful dog.  His chest and legs and stripped black&white. Poor MIKE was found running the streets but nno owner ever came forward after posting him on social media.  I am happy to have MIKE in my home and watch him have fun with toys and playing with the other foster dogs.  It really warms my heart to see such joy in him, he is very appreciative of being in a home.  I let the dogs out often through the backdoor to go potty, I do not have a doggy door and I watch MIKE carefully.  He will go to the door to go out but if I am not paying attention he will go on the pee pads.  But he is getting the hang of going potty and I am diligently working with him. He will not grow any bigger, walks well on a leash and crate trained.  MIKE loves to snuggle and be close to you when he is not playing. If you are interested in adopting MIKE, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Welcome SAMSON to our home.  This mellow guy is an owner surrender who came from a retired couple that are experiencing medical problems and unable to care for him any longer.  Although he is getting along with the foster dogs in my home he is accustomed to be the only dog in the home.  I think another mild mannered dog would be a good pet-mate for him or a home where he is the only dog. SAMSON is 4 years old and weighs a plump 31 pounds, he needs to lose about 5 pounds!  His former home gave him lots of human food and he is use to being spoiled with it.  SAMSON is mostly poodle with some Maltese in him which makes his hair straight in some places but mostly he is curly. The hair on his face is straight and a curly body.  He also has a cute speckled nose. He is happy and bounces around on his walks, he loves to go for walks and is very familiar with the car, he jumps right in and watches all of his surroundings. If you would like to adopt SAMSON please submit an application on the website below or you can call me.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
