Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Annie is ready for adoption! She is a 3-year-old Mini Goldendoodle who weighs 18 pounds. Recently released from a breeder, Annie is learning what it means to be a dog in a loving home. Annie is a sweet little girl who just wants a couch to snuggle on and watch from afar. She is very timid and will take time to adjust to her new home. Once she knows she is safe, she will ask for your affection, but it will take time. She will sit on the couch with you, but not right next to you, at first. She will sleep in your bed, but jump off when you move. She has love to give, but it will be on her own time. Eventually, she will give kisses and even paw at you for some scratches. Annie will come into her own and having another confident dog in the home will help her learn; she loves playing with other dogs, especially outside. She does not walk on a leash, so she will need a fully fenced area to go outside (no invisible fences). Especially at first, she will be considered a flight risk. Annie requires a quiet home, as she is scared of quick movements and loud noises, so a home with no young children will suit her best. She doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body, she would just be very scared. Annie uses a crate when her foster family isn’t home, because she is still exploring and can get into things she shouldn’t, like toilet paper rolls! Otherwise, she has the run of the house. She is not completely housebroken, but will go out with the other dogs in the house, just not on her own. House training was going better before the snow came! She will use a pee pad overnight, though. Annie is spayed, up to date with core vaccines, microchipped, and tested neg. for heartworm.  She has also been professionally groomed!  Her adoption fee is $475Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 4, 2026, 12:36 pm

Story
Hugo ‍3 years old Miniature poodle14.5 lbsNeutered male  Hugo came to us last week, completely shut down, scared, and we weren’t sure what to expect.  Fast forward a week, Hugo is coming out of his shell. He enjoys laying in bed, the company of other dogs, and pets from his foster mom.  Hugo is crate trained, working on house training - if kept on a routine he does not have accidents, walks ok on a leash (needs some time to get more comfortable). He is friendly to dogs of all sizes and thrives with their companionship. So much so that he requires another dog in his adoptive home at this time. A fence is not required. We do recommend children 5+. Applications for adoption can be completed on our website: allieandpalsrescue.org/adopt ##2615181##

Story
And let’s not forget about the beautiful mama who spent her life in a puppy mill, finally made it to safety, only to shortly after have her final litter of puppies. Mama deserves a home too ‍ Ember5 years old Not yet spayed female Mini poodle  Ember is the mama to our recently posted 3 beautiful puppies. Without her sacrifices they would not be here today. Ember has pumped out puppies for profit her entire life, and then she was disposed of, disposed of while carrying one final litter of puppies that were brought into this world in the safety of a foster home.  Ember is a shy girl at first, can you blame her? She is in foster with dogs of all sizes and children. She would adjust well to any home but will need a decompression period, we believe she would prefer a quieter home - but she’s used to 3 pups in tow plus the foster kids and other dogs in her home so she also does well ok in busy environments.  She will be ready to be adopted next weekend. Applications for adoption can be completed on our website: allieandpalsrescue.org/adopt **Applicants within 2 hours of the Buffalo Niagara Airport will be considered for adoption for her.**   Embers adoption fee is $500 this includes age appropriate core vaccines at the time of adoption, microchip with lifetime registration, spay, heartworm negative, and up to date on prevention.  ##2621326##
