This boy’s happy energy … wow! Pogo’s body and tail wiggles so hard, it is contagious. Makes you want to get down and wiggle right along with him! Watch out for hard surfaces when his tail is swinging. He swings it so hard that he broke the tip of it and has to have it surgically repaired :/ Pogo is a super social guy. He is so sweet, loves everyone and every dog he meets. If he sees a dog but isn’t close enough to it where he can sniff and engage in a, ‘Hello! I am Pogo’, he screams. Oh yes, the scream is so big you think he is a 100lb dog! Nope, he is a little dude. Just 17lb! He quiets down as soon as he can go over to say hello 😊 Otherwise, he generally does not make a beep. He walks well on a leash, just mild pulling because he is excited to explore. Off leash, he loves to run as fast as his little legs would take him. Pogo is the best car passenger. He likes to put his legs on the windowsill and look out the window. When he needs a break, he lays down quietly, curls up and falls asleep to the rhythm of the car. Pogo is a lousy grooming client. He wiggles the entire time and needs one, maybe two helpers to either distract him or hold him down so the groomer can do his/her job. Pogo is 2.5-3 years old, 17lb Poodle mix. He is looking for a family with a resident dog(s) he can hang out with when the humans are at work, or go places where pups aren’t allowed. He appears to be house broken. He is not a fan of the crate. He prefers to be where his humans or doggie friends are. Considering how wiggly Pogo is, he must be in a harness when leaving the house for activities. A Freedom harness is the best, secured harness for him.

It's a bit of work, but it's also a great bonding time—and well worth it for such a stunning gal. Beyond her beautiful appearance, Joy is expected to have a truly wonderful temperament. Both Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles are known for being gentle, affectionate, and incredibly patient. Bernese Mountain Dogs are calm, loyal, and fantastic with families, while Poodles bring intelligence, playfulness, and a friendly nature. With these two breeds in her lineage, Joy is almost certain to inherit a loving, sweet personality and a smart, eager-to-please attitude. She’ll thrive in a home where she gets lots of love, attention, and opportunities to learn and grow. Whether she's snuggling on the couch or playing outside, Joy is sure to be a cherished companion and a joyful addition to any family. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Hi, I’m Sprout, but my foster family calls me Beansprout! I’m a playful, 1.5-year-old, 14lb energetic Poodle mix with a ton of love to give. I love to be outside, and I absolutely love to run! When I’m not running around like a nutball, I’m the ultimate cuddler. In the mornings and evenings, you’ll find me snuggling up with my humans, often rolling over to offer my belly for some good ol' belly rubs. I’m always ready for love, and sometimes, all it takes is a little chat, and I’m already flopping over for some attention. I’m happiest outside, whether I’m zipping around the yard or just sitting in the grass. I love to roll in it and slide on my belly like I’m in some kind of doggie race. Mud puddles? Yep, you bet I’m diving right in, but don't worry—I don’t mind baths afterward! I think I’d do well with a fur sibling or two, especially if they’re active and ready to play. I do great with kids, but I should probably warn you—my paws might get a little too excited at times. When I’m not bouncing off the walls, I’m right there by your side, whether it’s sitting on the sofa, curling up on the floor, or resting in my crate at night. I’m just happiest when I’m close to the ones I love! I am still working on only going potty outside and have been practicing walking on a leash. I’ll need a patient family that is willing to continue to work with me and help me learn how to be a dog. If I sound like a good fit for your family, fill out an application to meet me ASAP! All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 1.5 Years Adoption fee: $500
