Meet this sweet little gentleman! Hunter is a 7-year-old male Miniature Poodle weighs just 8 pounds and is a quiet, gentle soul who is slowly coming out of his shell. He can be shy at first, but with patience and kindness, his loving personality truly shines. He will need a home that understands that confidence takes time and is willing to let him blossom at his own pace. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. He enjoys going for walks and loves car rides, making him a wonderful little companion for everyday outings. He is doing well with potty training, though he will still need guidance and consistency—some regression is normal when settling into a new home. Due to dental disease, all of his teeth have been removed, so he will require soft food and soft treats for the rest of his life. This doesn’t slow him down one bit—he’s still a happy, affectionate cuddle bug who loves being close to his humans. He would do just fine as the only dog in the home; another dog is not required. His ideal family will offer a calm environment, continued patience, and lots of gentle affection. In return, he will reward you with quiet companionship, sweet cuddles, and unconditional love.

Rescued from a puppy mill, this tiny girl has endured years of hardship, yet she remains incredibly sweet, curious, and gentle. Trixie lost her foot as a young puppy when a carpet thread wrapped around her tiny limb. Despite that, she spent her entire life in a breeding pen, never knowing comfort, freedom, or affection. Notwithstanding everything she has lived through, Trixie’s heart remains open. She is loving and resilient, with a quiet curiosity about the world. She walks with a limp for now but gets around with determination and dignity. In the future, if her stump begins to cause her pain, the rescue will remain responsible for covering the cost of an amputation at our veterinarian.
