"Hello! I'm Coral! I am a 4 year old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Miniture Poodle mix, aka a cavapoo! I am 18lbs. I came from a commercial breeding kennel. I'm currently living it up in my foster home, enjoying the princess treatment. I really have to say, I think that the princess treatment was made for me!
I like to lay in sunny spots, curl up on my fluffy dog beds, and explore the yard. I am being fostered with other dogs, cats, and small animals. I am accepting of them, as long as they don't try to play rough with me. I just want to hang out, not wrestle!
With people, I am sweet but cautious. I like to be held and cuddled, and I follow my foster parents everywhere! My foster mom says I am her little shadow. I warm up to new people quickly and give lots of kisses.
I had really bad teeth when I came to the rescue, and I was in pain from them. Zoe's House Rescue had a dental cleaning done on me and I had to have a lot of my teeth extracted...I only have a few left now! But, I am happy because I am no longer in pain! I eat dog kibble with warm water added to soften it.
So far, I have been working on crate training and housebreaking with good success! I know I am supposed to potty outside and I always go when I'm taken to the yard. I have only had a couple accidents in the house, during my first week in my foster home. I am good in my crate, but I will only go in if I am bribed with a treat!
Over all, I am a good girl just looking for my human match! I would do well with a fenced yard, or leash walking. I'd love to meet you!"
Coral is being fostered in Southern Lancaster County and interested adopters must come to her foster home twice. The first visit is a meet and greet with all the members of the household including existing dogs in the home. The second visit is to take her home.
Coral is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and has been routinely treated with parasite preventatives. She will require routine grooming every 6-8 weeks.
