Story
This is fancy Clancy, a shy little poodle who was rescued from a puppy mill. Clancy is around 5 years old and weighs 11 lbs. Clancy is sweet, gentle, and very quiet, but we expect this is because he is still shut down and hasn’t learned how to express his little personality (we see this a lot with mill dogs). Clancy likes to be around other dogs and would do well in a home with another confident dog who could show him the ropes. Clancy will need a family who is patient and will give him time to come out of his shell. During his initial months in a new home, as he builds trust, he will be a flight risk, so all family members must be very careful with doors/gates and he cannot be left unattended outdoors. Clancy can be kitty-tested and would be fine with responsible kids who make sure to keep him safe in the house. This little angel is ready to learn all the joys of living in a loving home. Might you be the right home for Clancy to blossom? Apply for Clancy at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Peaceable Kingdom, PA Kennel License #04131, 1049 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052

Story
Meet Bunny. She is a miniature poodle that came to us from a commercial breeder. She is about 7 years old and weighs about 17 lbs. Bunny is on the more scared side, like a typical puppy mill dog. She is making some progress in her foster home. Bunny will do best in a home with another friendly small dog and a fenced in yard.  Bunny will need work on housebreaking. She has now been spayed and had a dental cleaning. Bunny is up to date with vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee us $300.00. Story
Meet Clifford. Clifford is a sweet, calm, loving 10 year old purebred mini-poodle. He has spent his first ten years as a stud dog in a commercial breeding facility and has never had the chance to be a beloved family dog. Clifford is ready to soak up all the love and comfort he's never had. He really is a wonderful older gentleman.  I think the best home for Clifford would be with a loving, retired parent or parents. Clifford loved the fenced yard at his foster home and is very accepting of the other foster dogs here. Clifford is now neutered,  up to date with vaccines, had a dental cleaning and a benign tumor removed from his tail. His bloodwork was great for a dog his age. Clifford is looking for a calm, comfy retirement home to get lots of love that he never had. His adoption fee is $150.00. If you are interested in adopting Clifford,  please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application. Story
Maggie is the sweetest, silly, bouncy, playful girl. She is about 10 months old and 35 lbs. She is affectionate and smart and eager to please, but very skittish with new people, and it takes her a bit of time to warm up. She knew nothing when she first got to rescue, but is so much better now and is so silly and goofy and affectionate. She does great with her training and routine, and she is so smart. Hypo allergenic, so will need grooming. A fenced yard is a must and she will do best with another dog in a home, for it helps her be the best version of herself. We can cat test. Maggie is a great gal and a must meet, but again, she will not come right up to you, til she knows you. Not a dog for little kids. (IF YOU DO NOT GET A REPLY EMAIL WITHIN 24 HOURS, CHECK YOUR SPAM BOX AND SEND US YOUR PHONE NUMBER, FOR WE REPLY EVERY FEW HOURS TO EMAILS) PREGNANT DOG RESCUE/LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility, specializing in pregnant dogs, moms with newborns, and small or medium adult dogs (we take in pregnant dogs, we do not adopt out pregnant dogs).  We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions!  (We often have puppies and moms not listed on the site, for they might be too young at the moment to list, so please, contact us to be sure of our available pups!)  We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. PREGNANT DOG And ALL BREED RESCUE/LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER puppies are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health. Our Puppies are current on vaccines, wormed, and extremely well cared for from birth - most even know how to use a dog door by the time they leave us!  They are friendly and social and very affectionate!  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! PDR/LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home.  Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile.  We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm and Lyme tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $595 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)  April 28, 2024, 2:01 pm

Story
Bennett! Bennett is an approx 2 yr old some sort of doodle who came to us as a breeding farm release, for unknown reasons. He is around 39 lbs. Although Bennett is from a mill type of situation and as such will need to play some catch up on socialization and training and some dog skills like walking on a leash, he is very sweet and is starting to show us some of his silly side. He was good and patient for his grooming and has started to play bow some of his favorite people. He is good in his crate and getting used to going outside for potty breaks. He is good with other dogs and overall just a really sweet boy who we know will absolutely blossom with a little patience and guidance from a kind adoptive home. Niall has had his initial vet visit and is up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. His adoption fee includes his neuter. He is 4dx (including heartworm and lyme) tested negative and is up to date on preventatives. Interested? Go to www.dogtownrescue.org to complete an online adoption application for Bennett.
