Story
Chloe finished her 60 days of Heartworm treatment, so she is now ready to find her forever home! She is a 13 year old Miniature Poodle weighing 8.3lbs. Chloe had her right eye removed when she first joined us. She is completely blind in her remaining eye and extremely hard of hearing. However, once she is familiar with her surroundings, she navigates with little issue. In her foster home, she knows where to find the water bowl and even uses the doggy door. Chloe is so incredibly sweet and loves to be held like a baby. She wants to be with you at ALL times (she has even started getting bossy about it!), so she requires an adopter that is home the majority of the day or works from home. She co-exists with the other dogs in the home but does not engage with them besides occasionally snuggling up for a nap on the couch. She would be fine as an only dog or with another mellow dog who is not interested in having a playmate. Chloe rarely barks unless she cannot find her foster family. When lost, she lets out the cutest little barks letting you know she wants to be picked up! She is potty trained and kennel trained, but her foster family trusts her to roam in the house when gone. She sleeps in bed with her fosters and is a perfect passenger in the car. This sweet, gentle, senior girl is ready to find her people. If you are interested in adding Chloe to your family, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1651047##

STERILIZATION HOLD, PREADOPTION ONLYHi there, my name is Stanley, or at least that's what the nice people here have been calling me. I was found as a stray and unfortunately never found my family, but that's okay because I'm ready to find a new family that will let me live out my golden years. I am very social with people and absolutely love being loved on. Due to how sweet I am I would probably get along with children. I have not been tested with other dogs yet but if they are nice and calm I should be okay. I enjoy going for short walks around the block, and getting my back scratched. I do good in the kennel and would like to have one at home to be my safe space. The staff here are not sure how well I can hear, it may be due to my age, or I may just be ignoring them, they don't really know. But if you are looking for a fun sized, easy going, old man then look no further because I'm the one for you. If you would like to meet me then be sure to stop on by.

Story
Calling all senior dog lovers! We have the perfect little Peanut for you. This sweet boy is around 10-12 years old and is looking for his forever lap to spend his golden years!  Size: 5 pounds.  Favorite things: Meal time, curling up on a dog bed for a long snooze, following you around the house, snazzy sweaters, sniffing around the yard Behavior: Due to his age, Peanut is a little couch potato. If napping were an Olympic sport, he’d get the gold! He can go on very slow walks, but he’s happy simply sniffing the grass in the yard. His mobility is limited, but he’s easy to scoop up and carry around wherever you need to go. We think he’d love a doggie stroller for “walks.” Training: Given his age, he needs to go potty frequently and sometimes has accidents. He wears a diaper to keep things easy for everyone! He will bark in his crate when he needs to go.  Other dogs: Completely tolerates other dogs but does not engage with them. Kids: No kiddos, please! Peanut is an older guy set in his ways. He would prefer a calm, quiet home.  Adorable antics: He gets SO excited to eat and will even squeal if his foster mom takes too long to prepare his food bowl. Peanut was found as a stray, matted, and in rough shape. Despite this, he has a lot of life in him! He is looking for that special person who will give him the best golden years! Could that be you? To meet Peanut, fill out an application at www.thestreetdogproject.org/adopt. Questions? Please email placement@thestreetdogproject.org. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 30, 2023, 11:44 pm

Story
My name is Charles and I am a quiet adult gentleman looking for new digs.  I was alone on the streets of Laredo and that time wasn't kind to me: I was covered in filth and mats, but that's all over and I may still look a little ragged around the edges for now. I am getting lots of TLC from foster Mom and will be back to my handsome self soon!   My roomie is a big furry girl but I don't mind her, we get along just fine. I am house and crate trained and very low maintenance.  Foster Mom  says I am a very good boy.  Being close to my person is all I really want  - could that be you?? Please visit our website at tmhpr.com for more information about our organization and our available pets.  Safe pet home visits & vet checks are required. For this reason, we only adopt locally - in the Dallas area. If you are interested in meeting or adopting one of our available pets, please fill out the adoption application found at:   tmhpr.com . Dogs Puppies under 12 months – $345 Dogs 12 months and over – $285 Large-Breed Dogs (over 75 lbs) – $310 Senior Dogs – $220 Cats Kittens under 12 months – $210 Cats 12 months and over – $145 Rescued Declawed cats* – $170 Purebred Cats – $230 * TMHPR does not endorse the declawing of cats   May 30, 2023, 6:36 pm

Story
~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Bobby is the sweetest Poodle ever! He's a total love bug. He will coexist with other dogs but doesn't like them in his face. He would do best with just a few other dogs. Bobby gets along with all people and is a very good boy.  -- Where did he come from: Found as a stray, Shelter called owner on microchip but they decided to Surrender him to the shelter  Adoption: ***** $500.00 ***** Weight: 11.4 lbs. Approximate age: 9/19/2013 ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.recycledpoms.org/application -- Email info@recycledpomeranians.com to request a printable application. --   ------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.-------- May 30, 2023, 8:28 pm
