Ranger is six years old and 16 lbs. He's a smart and observant dog who thrives in calm, predictable environments without children. He is fully potty trained, very loyal, and forms a very strong bond with his person. Once he feels safe and comfortable, he is incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle. He enjoys simple routines, indoor play like fetch, and being close to his person. While he can be vocal and tends to bark or keep his distance when unsure, this is rooted in his cautious nature rather than aggression. Ranger does best in quiet homes and can become anxious in busy or high-energy environments, especially around children or unfamiliar situations. Because of this, he would do best in an adult-only home with someone patient and experienced who can give him time to decompress, build trust, and provide consistent structure. He has lived with another small dog in the past and did well, though he may need a slow introduction. In the right environment, he relaxes significantly and shows his loving, loyal personality. Ranger truly thrives when he feels safe and understood. He has so much love to give and, with the right home, has the potential to be an incredibly devoted and rewarding companion. Ranger is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. He doesn't shed but needs consistent, professional grooming and daily brushing to stay happy and healthy. She loves car rides and adventures, even if it's just a trip through the drive-thru for a pup cup. Henny deserves a family who will cherish her for the rest of her life and make her a true member of the family. She is the kind of dog who will stand by your side through everything, offering unconditional love, companionship, and loyalty. Meet Chopper – A Little Dog Looking for a Lifetime of Love Chopper is a 2½-year-old white " Pekapoo " (Pekingese/Poodle mix) with a heart full of love and a story that has had more twists than any dog should experience in such a short life. The only family Chopper had ever known made the difficult decision to give him away, posting him on Facebook because they said they no longer had time for him. He was handed off to a stranger in a parking lot, leaving behind the only home he had ever known. After the heartbreak of losing his family, Chopper slowly adjusted to life with his new family and found happiness again. He especially bonded with the family's 6-year-old child, who became his very best friend. Then life threw Chopper another curveball. His mom lost her job and received an eviction notice. Meet Eloise! Eloise is four years old and 20lbs. She is the sweetest and cuddliest girl. Eloise is looking for a home where she can be lap dog but still be taken out for daily exercise. She is house trained and has been a kennel free dog. She sleeps through the night and has done well being left to roam the house while we have been out. Eloise is good with children and other dogs but we have not seen her around cats.She hops around when she gets excited and can sometimes scratch you on accident if you’re in shorts. Eloise is spayed and fully up to date on her shots. She had a total teeth cleaning in March of this year. Sweet adorable, full of scruffy cuteness Arlo. This fellow comes from a hoarding situation and is adjusting well, but will need someone to help him continue to gain confidence and learn the routine. He loves his safe place and appreciates a routine. Another dog to help him would be good. He is sweet and quiet, good about going outside. Loves baths. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
