Story
Meet Coco!! Coco is an estimated 10-month-old pup with plenty of smarts and energy! While we’re not certain of her exact mix—she may be part mini-poodle or mini-Aussie doodle—one thing’s for sure: she’s an adorable bundle of fun. She’s currently working on leash training and potty habits, and she does very well in her crate. Coco is a playful “mouther,” so we recommend a home without children under 10. She would thrive in a household with another dog who matches her lively energy and playfulness. Are you ready to keep up with this spirited sweetheart? ?? If so, applications can be found at www.friendsofnoah-wi.org/adoption-application

Story
Meet Baby! Breed: Miniature Poodle Mix Rescue: Albert’s Dog Lounge Age: Golden Oldie Weight: 12 lbs Foster home: Lake Geneva, WI Activity level: Moderate Friendly with: dogs and adults, because of his poor vision he would not be a good fit for a home with small children. He also prefers low energy dogs who give him his space. Sleep style: Cozy on the couch Meals: Mix of wet and dry food throughout the day, he’s more of a grazer/nibbler Bark-o-meter: 4/10, barks when someone is at the door Shedding meter: 1/10 Fashion: Bow ties, he’s a formal gent Signature color/pattern: Aqua blue, really highlights his apricot curls Walk out song: Walking on Sunshine Favorite season: Summer, he gets to spend more time outdoors romping in the grass Personality: Gentle, sweet, loves to be near his people ❤️s: Exploring his yard (we imagine he would throw on some readers and study maps!), being with his people at all times, taking treats gently Baby was found as a stray in Chicago and is on to bigger and better things. He loves to act as your personal security detail, patrolling the yard to keep you safe :) He does not like to be crated but does well roaming free when you are gone. He’s working on going potty outside and almost has it down, but would benefit from a belly band if being left for a longer period. He is not a fan of being left alone and would prefer a calmer home where someone is home with him often. Neutered ✅ Microchipped ✅ Loves to be near his people and meet new friends ✅ Trusted to roam free when left alone ✅ UTD on vaccinations ✅ UTD on preventatives ✅ Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Story
Marty is being fostered in PA. Little Marty is a sweet, easy-going little mini poodle guy who gets along with dogs and cats and people of all ages. His breed is guessed at as a full blooded mini poodle. His estimated age is about 13 but he's a very quick-stepping little man and enjoys exploring his environment, especially outside. He can find his way to the door and he was doing a great job at pottying outside until his foster mom went back to work a couple weeks ago. He will be very easy to get back in the habit of eliminating outside with a forever family who is home more. He's fairly easy to figure out in that, if he's up and exploring, he needs to go out. :) Marty has a very thin coat of fur on his torso but he does not have any visible skin issues and does not itch. His thyroid levels were checked and were fine. We know little about his past life so he may be recuperating from a past issue. Marty is leash trained and does well but because he's a small and older guy, walks won't be very fast. He also rides well in the car. At this time, he seems to enjoy dog bed hopping over being on a lap and he will walk right off the edge of a chair or bed. He needs to be carried up and down stairs and has no awareness of being at the top of stairs. He will remind his foster mom if his breakfast or dinner is overly late. Marty has had a slight cough since arriving in his foster home and following an xray on September 16th, it was discovered that his heart is slightly enlarged and he has a small amount of fluid in the upper portion of his one lung. These are both signs of congestive heart failure, which is fairly common in little old men like Marty. He will probably need to take Benazepril, Lasix and Pimobendan for the rest of his life. These medications run about 50.00 per month. Marty will have a dental on September 26th. He will probably need to have most, if not all, of his teeth extracted but it will be so much better for him to have a healthy mouth again! Marty will make a sweet little companion for some family. He's very excited to be spoiled and doted on for the rest of his days. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
HeyU is being fostered in PA. She was born blind. Meet HeyU - The Little Black Star Ready for Her Forever Stage! Hello world! My name is HeyU, and I’m a silky black mini poodle born on August 29, 2025. I came into this world blind—but don’t let that fool you. I don’t even know I’m blind, because nothing slows me down! I zoom around the backyard, conquer stairs, and chase toys like a champ. Speaking of toys……did someone say TOYS? They’re my absolute favorite! Personality Snapshot: Confident, easygoing and endlessly cheerful Loves everyone—— two-legged and four-legged alike, with a wiggly wiggly butt Professional snuggle (laps, couches, anywhere you’ll let me!) Quiet and crate-trained, sleeping peacefully through the night My Dream Home: I thrive with a gentle, confident doggy friend to help me settle in. Older kids are fine, but little ones can be a bit overwhelming for me. I’m working hard on leash skills (progress not perfection!) and I’m already up-to-date on vaccines. My gorgeous coat will need regular grooming, but trust me — it’s worth it. Daily Life: Snoozing happily in my crate for 6 to 8 hours Signals politely when I need to go outside, (“Hey I’m at the back door!”) Content to be left alone as long as I’m safe in my crate Love’s playtime with my foster sister and cuddling time with my foster mom I’m located in Doylestown Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and I’d love for you to come and meet me in person. I promise to shower you with unconditional love, joy and snuggles for the rest of my life. If you’re ready to welcome a confident, toy-loving, snuggle queen into your heart please apply to adopt me. I’m waiting with a wagging tail and a full heart of love! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
