Story
Hi there, my name is Souchi and I'm a 4-year-old female poodle mix! I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Loyal, Affectionate, Velcro Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: When I first arrived at CRHS I wasn't in great shape. I was very scared and severely matted to the point that I couldn't even go potty! Thankfully I was able to get groomed and now I'm a new dog! I am one of the most loyal dogs you will meet, I absolutely adore my people and want to be involved in whatever they do. I enjoy zooming around the yard like a little racecar. I'm a true Wisconsin girl: I love cheese! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 5 or 6/10 I'm usually a chill lady but can get quite the pep in my step when excited! Housetraining Status: I am housetrained, however it may take some time for me to adjust to the schedule in my new home. I should do well in a home: It is highly recommended that I go into foster-to-adopt, but it's not required. I am required to go to a home with children 12 years and over to ensure all of my boundaries are respected. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Being with my people and being involved in their activities. Zooming around in the grass is also a blast! Things I need work on are: I could use some work on my commands. Any special needs: CRHS staff highly recommend foster-to-adopt but it's not required. Doggy day out notes: N/A Daycare Status: N/A My adoption fee is: $300 Training Requirement if applicable: N/A *If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info!   ***I am able to go home to my forever family right from transport!! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on June 5th and arrive on June 6th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 5/10/26 Dog Name: Daisy Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Poodle/Cattle Dog Mix Approximate Age: 4 months Litter Name: Flower Litter Approximate Weight: 12-20 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Not yet (too young) Description: This beautiful litter of 5 girls deserved a chance, they were facing euthanasia in a small Texas town. They are just babies, they have so much life to live- these girls are sweet and have really unique coats! They are likely poodle/cattle dog mix but we really can’t be sure, BUT they sure are gorgeous!! They are at the age where they are developing their little personalities, they love to spend their time playing and cuddle with each other. These babies were supposed to come to WI in April but came down with parvovirus, they stayed in TX to be treated, they are little fighters and are now healed, doing well and ready to find their forever families. Please help these little sweethearts find their forever homes and get their freedom ride out of Texas! Adoption Fee: $650We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. May 13, 2026, 12:42 pm
