Meet sweet and spunky Mr Ebenezer! This little man may share a name with a scrooge but he is anything but! Eb is a very happy little man at around 3 years old and 20 lbs. He is great with other dogs, enjoys his squeeky toys and is doing well with crate and potty training. Ebenezer wins the worlds best snuggler award and is looking forward to finding his forever family. Unlike his namesake, Eb will bring his new family lots of Chirstmas joy. ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3. Once approved, we ask that all members of the household (including dogs) be available for meeting the animal within 3 days. Story
Sadie is an 8 yo 16 lb. chocolate/liver female mini schnauzer who is still looking for her forever home in PA, DE, MD, VA, or DC. She is a friendly, barky, playful, active dog who loves attention and is a lapdog. Playing with her toys and fetching them is one of her favorite pastimes. She is a big fan of going for walks. She is house-trained and crate trained. She is microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. Sadie was spayed in rescue as well as having bladder stones removed. She will need to be on urinary prescription food the rest of her life to prevent the stones from reoccurring. Sadie would do best in a townhome or single family home with a fenced yard with an adopter who would take her on walks. Children should be age 10 or older. She does not get along with dogs living in the home, so should be an only dog. Sadie's adopter will be required to take her through obedience training. If you would like to be considered to adopt Sadie, you must first apply. Please contact schnauzerrescue@outlook.com for our rescue's adoption application. If you've already applied, please contact schnauzerrescue@outlook.com to be added to the list of those being considered. Rescue Schnauzers usually weigh between 15-25 pounds, they are up to date on shots, heartworm/Lyme tested and spayed/neutered prior to placement. We make reasonable efforts to evaluate the health and temperament of each dog, however we cannot make any guarantees. We are not a shelter and do not have a central facility to visit our rescue schnauzers. All dogs are kept in foster homes located throughout the area we cover. PLEASE NOTE: We rescue schnauzers in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania. We can only accept applications from these areas.
