Story
Meet Daisy, a delightful Miniature Schnauzer. She's now two years old and weighs only 16 pounds (At such a light weight, we ask that the home either doesn't have children under 10 or children that do have experience with small dogs.) Shy, sweet and good with other dogs, Daisy came from a hoarding situation and would do well with another dog or two in the family. A cutie pie, she'll need to be groomed periodically. (posted 6/2/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **June 2, 2025, 5:23 pm

Meet Nova This little girl is around 9 months old. Nova is an amazing little girl. She is shy and will require patience and consistency. Nova was dumped with her mom and brother We don't understand how anyone could do this but we promised Nova and her family it would all work out for the better. Nova would do best in a home with a fur sibling. She needs someone to show her the ropes and play with. We are thinking she's some sort of schnauzer mix. Nova is fully vetted. HW-negative current on vaccines and preventions h She is microchiped and comes with a special geotag If you feel like Nova is your girl then please visit our website to fill out an application www.TiggerTown.com ##2415626##

Every so often, a Good Samaritan will bring us a stray found along the side of a highway or on the lane up to their farm. They don't ignore the dog, they bring them to us and, after we check for a chip, we take them into rescue. Such was the case with Ranger, a 1-year-old, 20-pound Mini Schnauzer mix. A delightful boy, Ranger's foster describes him as very sweet, and energetic, a boy who loves every dog/person he meets! We're thankful for Good Samaritans. Adopt Ranger, and you will be, too. Story
Sadie is an 8 yo 16 lb. chocolate/liver female mini schnauzer who is still looking for her forever home in PA, DE, MD, VA, or DC. She is a friendly, barky, playful, active dog who loves attention and is a lapdog. Playing with her toys and fetching them is one of her favorite pastimes. She is a big fan of going for walks. She is house-trained and crate trained. She is microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. Sadie was spayed in rescue as well as having bladder stones removed. She will need to be on urinary prescription food the rest of her life to prevent the stones from reoccurring. Sadie would do best in a townhome or single family home with a fenced yard with an adopter who would take her on walks. Children should be age 10 or older. She does not get along with dogs living in the home, so should be an only dog. Sadie's adopter will be required to take her through obedience training. If you would like to be considered to adopt Sadie, you must first apply. Please contact schnauzerrescue@outlook.com for our rescue's adoption application. Please be sure to keep a watch on your Spam and Junk folders if you don't see a response in your email inbox. If you've already applied, please contact schnauzerrescue@outlook.com to be added to the list of those being considered. Rescue Schnauzers usually weigh between 15-25 pounds, they are up to date on shots, heartworm/Lyme tested and spayed/neutered prior to placement. We make reasonable efforts to evaluate the health and temperament of each dog, however we cannot make any guarantees. We are not a shelter and do not have a central facility to visit our rescue schnauzers. All dogs are kept in foster homes located throughout the area we cover. PLEASE NOTE: We rescue schnauzers in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania. We can only accept applications from these areas. For a rescue contact in other areas, please go to our website http://www.schnauzerrescue.net and click on Rescue Links. We have a need for volunteers in Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Our website features lots of great information about the rescue process, book reviews and training tips. You can donate to Sadie's care at http://schnauzerrescue.net/Donate.htm via PayPal or check. All donations go to the veterinary fund and are tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Thanks for your support!
