Story
Meet lovely Lady Maya!! This sweet senior girl is the perfect mix of feisty, classy, and delightfully sassy. She may have a few years under her collar, but she still brings happy energy and that signature Schnauzer attitude that makes everyone smile. She’s a professional lap‑sitter, a polite eater, fully house trained, and a leash‑walking pro who loves calm, quiet homes with just a few special humans. If you need a foot warmer on cold nights, she will certainly be a willing participant and neatly occupies the space at the foot of the bed. She gets along fine with other dogs, but if someone gets pushy, she’ll politely remind them to mind their manners — she’s a lady, after all. Her favorite things include: Snuggling directly in your lap Enjoying peaceful, low‑key spaces Being active without being wild Showing off her excellent training If you’re looking for a well‑mannered, affectionate companion who brings joy, comfort, and a sprinkle of spunk, this lovely girl is ready to be your new best friend. Maya is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $250 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. 📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Personality: She's sociable and energetic. She adapts to new places right away and loves to reach out to new people and friends she meets. She knows how to say hello to familiar people and friends. She loves to play with other dogs and loves to play with people. She picks up on new training quickly, so we think she would make a great dog for a family with a good understanding and training knowledge of dogs. She's a bit of a sneaky prankster right now, so she can get into trouble, but she's affectionate, gentle, and full of energy. • Affinity with -Cats:She is currently living with cats in a temporary foster home. She is not aggressive with cats, but she is very interested in them, so if you have a cat that likes dogs, she would be fine. -Dogs: She is currently living with the dogs in her foster home without any issues. They play well with each other, are socialized, and warm up quickly to new dogs they meet. -Adults/Kids: She is very fond of people and loves to be petted. She warms up quickly to people she meets for the first time. • Shedding: Moderate. There is shedding in certain periods. Her fur is best brushed daily with a silicone brush. • Walking Manner: She loves to go for walks, both familiar and new, and prefers to take fast, wide, territorial walks (rather than slow, sniffing the trails). He also loves to run in the park, but will sometimes try to run outside if there is no fence. she is fast and has a lot of energy, so she loves to run around in large parks and meet people and dogs. she also loves to go for walks in the mountains, but she has a hunting instinct and is interested in small snakes, rodents, and birds. • Housetrained: She goes potty on pee pads and highly prefers to go outside. She can chew on wood and plastic furniture and will grab small items that fall on the floor and play with them. She's very playful and will run around with you if you have a like-minded friend in the house. • Separation Anxiety: She's always been around other dogs, so we can't confirm, but we think she'll be fine on her own. • Bark or Howl: She barks briefly when she hears strangers outside. There is no howl • Carsickness: She had drooling at first, but now she rides well. 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Story
Peanut is a 2-year-old female that weighs 19.20 lbs – Her brother Butter was adopted and living his best life already 😊 These fantastic furbabies were found running in and out of traffic on a busy road when they were seen by a good Samaritan. It took over an hour, and lots of dodging traffic to finally encourage these 2 into their vehicle. We do not know how they were not run over, but we are so glad they gave in to going to safety! With that being said, we know they do enjoy car rides and loading up in the vehicle! While we do not know what their exact breeds are, they do not shed, therefore we do believe they can be considered hypoallergenic. Based on looks – We think they could be a mix of schnauzer, poodle, Lhasa apso, shih tzu and Tibetan Terrier, but who knows?! They are cute for sure! Peanut and Butter are not bonded, but they do get along wonderfully. They are fostered with other doggies, and they get along with all the dogs they meet, big and small, young and old. They would do great with other dogs in the home or with no dogs in the home. While they have not actively been introduced to cats recently, we believe based on their personalities they would do great with cats. They have no aggressive behaviors and are really just some of the most easy-going doggies. Peanut and Butter are more relaxed dogs – they enjoy lounging around the backyard and around the patio. Peanut is a little shyer than Butter, she does take a little bit of time to come around. The foster believes both would do great with children, but Peanut would be best with older, more well-behaved children who understand patience and kindness with a dog. Butter is more outgoing and would be better with all age children. They are crate trained and house trained. Both dogs would do best in a home that is more low key to medium active as they are not very hyperactive dogs and just like to hang out. They would do great with walks around the neighborhood or just a backyard to hang out in. Even car rides around just to get out of the house and see the views 😊 Peanut and Butter are wonderful furbabies who deserve a family or families that will love them and not let them run the streets and dodge cars that they don’t understand will end their lives. Peanut is spayed, heart worm negative, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, current on dewormer, current on age-appropriate vaccinations (parvo/distemper, bordatella and rabies vaccine) and microchipped. She will receive clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks: Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh, MD and Falls Church, VA We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.

Story
Luther Schnauzer Male Grey, White 6 years old 15.6 lbs Meet Luther! Luther is a well-behaved, affectionate boy who bonds closely with his people and loves being near them. Still adjusting to suburban life, he can be surprised by cars and trucks, and you can expect a classic schnauzer alert when someone or another dog appears unexpectedly, but he responds well to gentle correction and settles quickly. He gets along well with other dogs and may alert briefly on first meeting before becoming friendly. He has some separation anxiety and would do best in a home with another dog. While he doesn’t love being crated when humans leave, he actually stays calmer in the crate than out of it and sleeps peacefully either crated near his people or in bed with them. He’s observant, learns routines easily, comes when called, and happily follows his humans from room to room. He is fully house-trained, eats well, and lets you know when he needs to go outside. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys exploring leaves and nature during walks. He’s affectionate, loves snuggles, and enjoys playing with older children, though he’s likely best in a home without very young kids. One of his sweetest traits? A gentle little paw tap on your leg when he wants your attention. He has recently had full dental procedure done so his teeth are in good shape. Please Note: **No children under 10!** If you are interested in adopting LUTHER, please go to our website www.somersetcottagepoodlerescue.org to see our adoption process and download the adoption application LUTHER's adoption donation is $850
