Story
Baxter, a Schnauzer mix, was rescued from a shelter and is about 11 months old. Baxter is a big boy and has lots of energy. His favorite thing is belly rubs and getting a bone to chew. He loves playing fetch and seems to really enjoy training games. We are working on basic obedience. Baxter needs continued socialization. On walks he will pull, bark, and lunge towards different triggers (mainly dogs). He is doing well going off path a distance from a passing dog and getting treats when he looks back at us vs. the dog he wants to bark at. He gets along with the children, yet due to his size and energy, he is not a good fit for children under 10. We want him to be in a loving, active home with older children/teens or adults who have a fenced yard. Baxter needs a family who can gently help him overcome his anxious feelings and give him both physical exercise and mental stimulation. He’s a smart pup and with consistent training, he will be an incredible family dog.

Story
Meet Candy ð&#194&#159&#194&#141¬ â&#194&#128&#194&#147 CEO of Cuddles Donâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t let the three legs fool you â&#194&#128&#194&#148 this 12-year-young, 15-pound terrier mix moves just fine and runs the household like a pro! Candy is a professional lap warmer, full-time shadow, and part-time attention thief (she prefers to be your one-and-only ð&#194&#159&#194&#152&#194&#137). After losing a badly injured leg, this little tripod proved sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s as strong as she is sweet. Her favorite hobbies include following you everywhere, supervising your relaxation time, and soaking up all the love youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re willing to give. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s house trained, just needs regular potty breaks due to aging bladder, and would thrive in a calm home where she can be the star of the show. Looking for a tiny best friend with a huge heart and zero concept of personal space? Candyâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s your girl! ð&#194&#159&#194&#146&#194&#149 All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. She’s 1 years old. I got her from a friend. I’m rehoming her because I don’t have the time, and I’m having a kid. She’s very happy, energetic, she likes to play a lot. She doesn’t bark a lot, she doesn’t bite.
