Story
❗Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ • Personality: She's sociable and energetic. She adapts to new places right away and loves to reach out to new people and friends she meets. She knows how to say hello to familiar people and friends. She loves to play with other dogs and loves to play with people. She picks up on new training quickly, so we think she would make a great dog for a family with a good understanding and training knowledge of dogs. She's a bit of a sneaky prankster right now, so she can get into trouble, but she's affectionate, gentle, and full of energy. • Affinity with -Cats:She is currently living with cats in a temporary foster home. She is not aggressive with cats, but she is very interested in them, so if you have a cat that likes dogs, she would be fine. -Dogs: She is currently living with the dogs in her foster home without any issues. They play well with each other, are socialized, and warm up quickly to new dogs they meet. -Adults/Kids: She is very fond of people and loves to be petted. She warms up quickly to people she meets for the first time. • Shedding: Moderate. There is shedding in certain periods. Her fur is best brushed daily with a silicone brush. • Walking Manner: She loves to go for walks, both familiar and new, and prefers to take fast, wide, territorial walks (rather than slow, sniffing the trails). He also loves to run in the park, but will sometimes try to run outside if there is no fence. she is fast and has a lot of energy, so she loves to run around in large parks and meet people and dogs. she also loves to go for walks in the mountains, but she has a hunting instinct and is interested in small snakes, rodents, and birds. • Housetrained: She goes potty on pee pads and highly prefers to go outside. She can chew on wood and plastic furniture and will grab small items that fall on the floor and play with them. She's very playful and will run around with you if you have a like-minded friend in the house. • Separation Anxiety: She's always been around other dogs, so we can't confirm, but we think she'll be fine on her own. • Bark or Howl: She barks briefly when she hears strangers outside. There is no howl • Carsickness: She had drooling at first, but now she rides well.

Story
I acquired Hercules 10 years ago in Houston, Texas. He has been with me since. I love him immensely but given my work schedule and travel, it has become apparent that I need to do right by him and find him a home where he can be loved on the way he deserves. Hercules is 10 years old. He loves humans and would do well in a family environment with folks to give him attention. He is as energetic and calm as you need him to be. He is versatile. Hercules is a talker and is eager to greet everyone. He loves to play fetch and lounge around. Hercules has some separation anxiety issues (nondestructive). Ideally he will do very well with a family where he can get plenty of attention and love. I am willing to wait this out to ensure we find the right match.

Story
BB is the smallest of three sisters rescued in early May and the deep thinker of the three. She sits watchfully thinking things through, but runs over in a heartbeat if you have an extra hand for pets, belly rubs, and soothing. Taken from southern WV after spending months with little to no care or attention, she and her sisters were spared being turned into breeding dogs and all they want is love and happiness with their new families - and they will pour out the same in return. After her rescue, BB has never had an "accident" inside the house or the overnight enclosure, only going outside for relief. She is smart, complicated, compassionate, affectionate and smart. She's a great little dog with a big heart and new dreams to chase. And, she likes to chase birds! Once in a while the ambulance or fire truck goes by, and BB howls/sings along with the siren, so be prepared to singalong with her when the times come. Blueberry is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $425 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. Story
Mango is the middle child of the three sisters rescued in early May. They were kept outside in a chain link enclosure most of their lives without much attention or care. This brave little girl has really come out of her shell since arriving into foster and loves all people and, so far, any other dogs she gets to meet. In the few days since her rescue, she has progressed from every new noise being a 5-alarm event, to loving belly rubs, facial pets and chewing on actual grass. In the days since her rescue Mango has never had an "accident" at the home of her rescuer nor in the overnight enclosure she and her sisters share. She is curious and adventurous and will take all the time and attention you have to offer. She's smart and should be easy to train - she listens and always tries to do the right thing. Just a really nice girl! Mango is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $425 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. Story
Tangerine is the leader of the three sisters rescued from Southern WV in early May. They are just shy of a year old and were kept outdoors in a chain link enclosure for most of their short lives. Terrified of everything and everyone when she arrived, but just a few short days later in a loving foster home, she follows people everywhere, trotting along behind her foster dad. Tangerine hops into your lap (with or without an invitation) and craves love and affection to make up for all the months she spent with so little. She will sit still for as long as you will, getting belly rubs and pets and sleeps happily through the night in her new comfy digs. Tangerine has never had an "accident" in the house or in her enclosure, only taking her business outside - so we don’t think it will take long to cement her housebreaking. She has met other dogs without issue and is curious and alert, having watched over her siblings successfully for their early months. She is smart and has a HUGE heart, a big smile, and lots of energy. She tries to play with a tennis ball, but isn't exactly sure what to do - but we know she will learn as this girl wants to please everyone! Tangerine is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $425 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. Story
Meet Bentley! Bentley found himself abandoned when his family moved without him. Despite the hardship and heartbreak he has faced, Bentley is a happy, friendly, affectionate boy who gets along with all people (including older kids) and with other dogs. He LOVES going on walks and sniffing in the yard, eating all the food and treats, and soaking up all the belly rubs. Bentley is just the total schnauzer-y package and wants to be everyone's friend. He loves people and follows his foster parents from room to room. He thinks he's a lapdog despite his size and has no concept of personal space, in the best way. He'll do best in a family who is home with him most of the time to give him love and attention - he dislikes being alone without people, and we can't blame him after what he's been through. Bentley is eager to please and wants all the snuggles. He'll roll around on his back to get attention and pets, and wags his whole body with excitement when he sees people - it's absolutely adorable! He's working on housebreaking and making progress but still wears a belly band for now. Bentley's ideal forever family will be patient, happy to work with him on training, and able to provide him with structure, routine, and a calm environment. And while he's a total lovebug, he prefers older children who can understand that sometimes he would like to rest and have some down time so he'll need a home without young kids. This bundle of joy will be the perfect sidekick for some lucky adopter - could it be you? Bentley is approx 8 years old and 30 lbs. Fostered in Gaithersburg, MD Please apply at MirisHaven.org
