Story
If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817-984-1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm. Dusty is an 8‑year‑old, 11.2‑lb gentleman who originally came to us in 2021 and was recently returned due to circumstances that sadly prevented his previous owner from keeping him. He has been a wonderful dog during his time with us and remains a healthy boy with no current medical concerns. We were told he does very well with older children and enjoys a calmer environment, though he can feel overwhelmed around very energetic toddlers. He has also done well with other dogs his size here at the shelter. Dusty is a steady, affectionate companion who would love a home that matches his easygoing personality. His adoption fee is $400.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age-appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you have any questions or would like to set up a time to meet Dusty, please let us know!! 🐾✨
