I’m looking to rehome my 3 year old dog to someone patient and understanding. She can be very nervous and fearful around people she doesn’t know. When meeting someone new, she will usually bark and may growl because she is unsure of them. It normally takes her a few visits/interactions before she becomes comfortable enough to let someone pet or touch her. She is also very alert and protective of the home. She barks a lot. Because of her personality, she would do best with someone who is patient, willing to give her time to warm up, and understands that she should not be rushed when meeting new people. Once she becomes familiar and comfortable with someone, she is much more accepting.

Duke was born June 18 . 2025. He has such a delightful playful personality. Loves attention. Loves to play ball.I have taken care of him since his actual birth which I witnessed. He is an offspring of my Ginger. Which we didnot expect. He was rejected by his birth mother at first so I had to hand feed him till one day her mother nature kicked in. He was the smallest of the litter. Later he grew to become the largest of his siblings. I became so bonded to Duke till I could not let him go along with the others at the time. However due to family medical reasons. I need to find him a lovable caring home.He is pretty obedient but could use more training to ur liking. He weights 12 lbs has a healthy appetite. And loves to please you. He loves playing games, loves to run in the yard, going for walks, car rides and is just loveable. He will make strange until he is sure u are OK. But after he is a ball of love. He is strictly an indoor puppy. Must have a yard. No other big dogs.
