He has been our dog for 6 years, but needs to be rehomed due to our little boys. He needs a home without young children where his boundaries are respected. He would do great in a home with adults or adults and older kids who can respect his space. He really is a fantastic dog who will go on walks and enjoy the out doors with you as well as cuddle up on the couch with you. He just needs a new home with a little more peace an quiet and less space invading toddlers.

Sweet Freddy is an experience waiting to be had by the right person who has energy to match his. He doesn't show well at PetCo, as most dogs seem not to because that's the only day they get out of boarding and they just want to show off instead. He tries really REALLY hard to be the goodest boy. None of us are perfect, though. SMILES 😁 But he keeps on trying!!!He has been through training so he does know HOW to behave.He's still a puppy at heart, but not size and we call him an "Alabama brown dog" with a total mix of breeds, most likely Mountain Cur, maybe lab and even a little Anatolian thrown in for good measure.He probably isn't a couch potato because he's looking for someone who will welcome his big personality as a plus and appreciate his comic relief and zoom zoom zoomies out in a yard that has a tall fence. He doesn't bark a lot that we've experienced; he enjoys playing HARD with other large dogs such as himself who like to play just RUFF as he does and have the zoomies also.
