Hi I'm Rocky! My brother Oscar and sister Missy are also here at the Ark with me. I'm the 'big brother' of the three of us and we're lucky that we have each other to play with, and we sure do love to play! But the truth is, we really all want our own home and family to grow up with. I'm shy at first because I wasn't around people much when I was little, but once I get to know you, I'm a big playful wanna-be lap dog! I just need a little time to warm up before I get my playful gear in motion. I love to spend time with the volunteers, and go for walks and play and I love meeting and playing with other dogs too! I was really lucky and got spend a couple of weekends at one of the Ark volunteers home, and got to show off how well behaved I am and that I'm even housebroken already! When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, and the most guesses were that I'm a Cur mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups, the first step is to fill out an application at http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption . Rosita or also known as Rosie is the mother to eight other dogs that were surrendered to the shelter to be euthanized. Luckily someone was at the shelter and heard what was happening and stepped up to save them all! Rosita is a very sweet and affectionate girl and deserves to live a happy life with someone that will give her the love and attention she deserves. Rosie loves hanging out with her humans and would love a nice warm home to spend her days lounging around inside. She just loves going on her daily walks. She rides very well in a car or just sitting with her humans.She has gone to adoption events and is very well mannered Rosie is spayed, up to date on all her shots and has been started on monthly prevention for fleas/ticks/heartworms and parasites. Five of her puppies have found forever homes and now its her turn to find a loving family. Could that be you? We think Rosie would do great as an only dog in the home or one other dog for companionship. She would make a great companion for someone that is home-bound and would not require daily walks if unable to take her out. She does do very well on a leash however. Bandito craves attention and human interaction. Very friendly and loves to put his head on your legs if you are sitting down. Bandito is a Merle Leopard Catahoula mix and has the softest, silkiest coat. He loves all humans and absolutely loves his ears petted. He would make a great companion for older children and has a large sized amount of energy. He loves long walks on the leash and would do best in a fenced in yard. He is 100% potty trained (letting him out the back door) and he is still learning the doggy door at the foster home. Bandito gets along very well with other dogs, cat friendly and loves to catch tennis balls. Bandito would do best with a furry companion in an active home. Bandito loves to wrestle withhis fellow furry friends at his foster home. He is extremely food (treat) motivated and is a fast learner. Bandito will make a great companion and loves car rides. Bandito will make a great, loving dog to someone who will match his energy!
