Story
Meet John Boy – The Farm-Bred Sweetheart  John Boy is a handsome 3-year-old brindle boy with the cutest ears and an adorable white-speckled chest and paws. Weighing about 35 lbs, he’s the perfect medium size — and while his mix is anyone’s guess (maybe Plott Hound, Mountain Cur, Lab, or Cattle Dog), one thing’s for sure: he’s 100% lovable! John Boy and his siblings showed up on a farm, where a kind family took them in until space opened at the rescue. He’s great with farm animals, and since arriving, he’s learned both house and leash manners like a champ. This good boy gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, making him an easy fit for almost any home. John Boy is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and dewormed. Adoption Fee: $250 If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing companion with a big heart and a country soul, John Boy is ready to be your best friend! June 18, 2026, 11:16 pm

Story
Mary Ellen is a 2 year old, 35 lb Cattle Dog/Mountain Cur mix with a heart that’s ready to heal. She’s had a rough start to life and truly needs a confident, experienced dog owner who can help her feel safe and continue building her trust. Once she’s comfortable in her surroundings, Mary Ellen becomes playful, affectionate, and eager to bond. She is housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, and already knows basic commands—she’s a smart girl who wants to please! Mary Ellen gets along well with other dogs, is good with cats, and would do best with older kids who can respect her boundaries. She has been spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and is heartworm negative. She’s ready for the right person to show her what love, stability, and patience really look like.June 18, 2026, 11:16 pm

Story
Hugo was adopted from the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter. He has been with us for a few days and is just the sweetest boy. He loves to be outside, but loves to come in after a walk and lay on the cool ground. He is very protective and will stick by your side no matter what. He is so sweet, and has never been aggressive towards any other person or animal. He can be timid but will be sure to warm up to you. He's never gone to the bathroom in the house and is good on a leash. He's curious about new environments but he's just trying to get to know his way around! Hugo would be absolutely perfect for a family wanting a dog but not as young as a puppy and not a senior. We just can't take care of him anymore because of our financial situation, we are sad to see him go but he is absolutely perfect and will fit in anywhere!

Story
Drake 🐾 This handsome brindle boy is Drake ! He is a cur mix, possibly a Tennessee Treeing Cur. Drake is a happy, playful puppy who loves hanging with the big dogs in his foster home. He following the other dogs around and has so much fun no matter what they are up to. He also loves his people and is the sweetest snuggle bug once he gets his energy out. Not only is Drake adorable, he is very smart as well. He is crate trained and doing great with house training. Drake would love a fenced in yard and some older children and or a furry friend or two to play with. He is an excellent rider and would definitely want to be included in all the fun adventures. If Drake sounds perfect for your family, please submit the adoption app. He can’t wait to join his new family. 🎉
