Baby Linden is part of the “Tree Litter,” a group of seven absolutely irresistible puppies (Banyan, Ginkgo, Tamarack, Hickory, Linden, Ash, and Aspen) all looking for loving homes of their own. This sweet family was rescued by K-9 Lifesavers from an overcrowded shelter in Wythe County, Virginia, and has been thriving in a wonderful foster home ever since. Now, they’re ready to find their forever families!
Baby Linden is a classic Heinz 57 mix—our best guess is a blend of Mountain Cur, Retriever, and Plott Hound—but what we know for sure is that she is 100% adorable. Linden's mom is Miley, a lovely 45-pound Plott Hound mix (picture included). Linden is a sweet, friendly girl who loves to play, cuddle, and explore the world around. Like any young puppy, Linden is at the perfect age for training and socialization. She will thrive in a home ready to provide guidance, love, and plenty of fun along the way. Whether it’s playtime in the yard, walks around the neighborhood, or cozy evenings on the couch, Linden will make a wonderful companion.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
