Story
Osiris is a 1-year-old male Mountain Cur mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s incredibly intelligent, active, and eager to learn. He came to me with worms, but he has since been fully treated and is neutered — healthy and ready for his forever home. Osiris gets along well with my cats and my other dog, Odin, so he would likely do great in a home with other pets. He especially loves wrestling and playing with his big brother! As a working breed, Osiris has high energy and would thrive in a home with land or at least a fenced yard where he can run and explore. He’s very playful and silly — his signature move is flipping himself over during playtime. He loves giving high fives, earning treats, and showing off how smart he is. He enjoys cuddles and actually prefers to sit with you during bath time. While he can be off-leash and typically stays close, he would benefit from a little more work on recall to make him his very best. Osiris would do best with an active owner

Story
Meet Maple – a sweetheart who has survived so much and still loves with her whole heart. Maple’s story is heartbreaking, but her spirit is nothing short of inspiring. Found living on the streets with the scars of neglect—a cigarette burn on her head and a tail that had been cut off—she had every reason to fear people. Instead, she chose love. Now safe in a foster home in Maryland, Maple has blossomed into the gentlest, most affectionate little pup. She adores being close to her humans and loves giving soft, happy kisses to children from toddlers through teens. She’s friendly with everyone she meets and gets along beautifully with other dogs, from playful puppies to calm seniors. Maple is ready for a family who will cherish her the way she deserves. Adoption details: Adoption fee: $400 Microchip registration: $13 No transport fee for adopters picking up in Maryland.
