Story
Meet Lillie: The Blossoming Beauty with a Heart Full of Love! Hello, wonderful souls! I'm Lillie, a resilient flower who found her way from the dusty streets of Mexico to the promise of a brighter tomorrow. Life may have started with a touch of hardship, but I'm here to share my story and show you the boundless love that's been growing in my heart. Picture this: a malnourished and starving pup, unusually calm for her circumstances. That's me - Lillie, the calm spirit who took each step with grace, even when the world seemed tough. Children, other dogs - I've discovered that life is better when shared, and I get along just fine with my fellow furry friends and the little ones. Now, let me be honest - I had a shaky start in playgroups. I like my space, and I can get a bit wary if someone rushes into my face. It's not personal, just me setting my boundaries. But give me a moment, and you'll see the warmth and love that blooms from within. As an office dog, I had the pleasure of entertaining a group of volunteers. Their love and attention worked wonders, and I gradually opened up, revealing a playful side that's been waiting to shine. It turns out that with a bit of care, even the calmest of souls can blossom into a delightful companion. My name is Lillie, and I'm ready for a new chapter filled with love, gentleness, and the joy of being part of a loving family. If you're seeking a blossoming beauty with a heart full of love, look no further. Let's create a garden of joy together - are you ready to welcome Lillie into your heart?

He’s a sweet fella with lots of love to give! His sweetness is as abundant as his energy. He's a happy soul, always eager to make new friends, be it humans or other dogs. He's good with children and his playful nature will make him a perfect companion for kids (though probably older children as his exuberance might knock little ones over!). However, Lucky does have a timid side, particularly when it comes to cats. He's also a fantastic co-pilot and enjoys his car rides, especially when it means a new adventure. Lucky is energetic and can be loud in his crate, so we don't recommend him for apartment or condo living. Lucky's love for companionship and good nature shines through when you meet him! Fill out an application today and meet Lucky before he is snapped up!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Eddy is quite a character. He is so animated. He enjoys sprinting around the yard. His feet seldom hit the ground. He is very food motivated. He is a sweet and happy boy. He has a cute little bobtail. Poor guy doesn't know what to do with toys. I don't believe he was ever an inside dog or that he was given the attention he so much desired. He has been vetted and neutered. Eddy would make a great hiking, jogging or walking partner.   Eddy is going to need a fenced yard to keep him safe.  If you are interested in Eddy, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 25, 2024, 10:46 pm
