A very sweet, human-loving boy, with endless silly-ness to share! Ezran loves every human he has met while being in his foster home. He has so much love to give, and will benefit greatly from consistent training. While still working on not jumping on people out of joy, Ezran is so excited to see everyone he meets, and he loves giving kisses. Ezran knows his basic commands (sit, down, paw) and is extremely smart and a great listener. He is house and crate trained! After not having been around dogs for 4 years, he was slowly introduced to a dog while in foster care and has been doing great. He is a shy boy when it comes to meeting dogs, but once he starts to warm up and feel comfortable he is a great doggy friend who understands cues and backs off when needed.Still is a puppy at heart. A moderately active family will suit his energy level best.  He loves a good game of fetch and will bring a toy/ball to you when he wants to play and he loves doing zoomies! He loves to sniff and go on walks, however will need additional help learning to not pull. It’s not his fault every smell must be sniffed!! After some fun, he loves to hang out and take a nap.  Ezran can be a nervous boy and will need a family that continues to work on his confidence. While in foster, he has shown tremendous improvement as time has progressed and he has gained trust. As much as he loves to be in your business, he also appreciates his space. As trust is gained, he has shown more and more willingness to share some cuddles. Ezran can’t wait to meet be introduced to his new, happy home, and to share all of the love in the world with his humans! Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. He loves BIG and just wants to find his person. His loving nature and enthusiasm for all things makes you smile every time you see him.Jaxx has mobility issues, but he is still a typical dog that wants to please and play. Jaxx will need help standing up, but once he is on all fours he can usually navigate pretty well with the occasional slip up. If he is excited he has more issues staying upright as his expression of happiness and love causes his little booty to wiggle so fast that he looses his balance.Jaxx loves all dogs and loves to play. His play looks a little different and sometimes he will fall over playing and will need a little help up. Jaxx odes great around children and just wants to be loved on. He is crate trained and may whine at first but settles into his nice soft bed quickly. He is mostly house trained but will still have the occasional accident. He would do best on a consistent schedule. He loves to be outside and has a harness that helps support his back end for longer walks. Jaxx is truly a precious boy that will be a wonderful addition to his perfect family. He is super special and is loved by everyone who meets him. Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. Story
Charming Carly is a very unique puppy and we call her the resilient pup with a heart of gold! Rescued from a shelter where she once struggled with malnutrition and soft joints, Carly has transformed into a picture of good health and happiness where affection radiates from her as she thrives on love and companionship. Carly not only has charm and sweetness, but her intelligence shines through as she eagerly learns basic commands, making her a joy to train and a wonderful addition to any family.   Carly does well in a crate and is working on house training and leash training.  Carly loves her toys, chasing balls, exploring in the woods, playing in the creek.  But don't let her playful side fool you – Carly equally adores cozy snuggles and tender moments of affection.  Carly is a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs and she does well with cats in her foster home, although she wants to give chase a little when outside. With her strikingly pretty dilute brindle coat, Carly is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. Having watched her sister find her forever home, Carly now eagerly awaits her turn to be embraced by a loving family who will cherish her for the incredible companion she is. Could you be the one to make Carly's dreams come true?  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you would like to have an application for adoption sent your way! PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 26, 2024, 2:09 pm

Story
On March 29th of this year 2024, our beautiful Lumina gave birth to 12 puppies and raised everyone of them to a place that they are now seeking adoptions.  Every0ne of these precious babies survived because of the great love and mothering skills of this Mountain Cur mix girl.  We call her Lumina because she illuminates the world with her kind spirit and sweetness.  When you look into her eyes you see a connection of love and hope. Lumina was a stray and discovered by a woman in Tennessee right at the time that she was almost ready to give birth.  Lumina has a calm spirit and someone will be so lucky to have her as their very own.  She has some anxiety about being left alone but with time she will come to understand that she will not be abandoned by new family.   She is housebroken pretty much and easy going and goes with the flow within a family’s lifestyle rhythm.   She is loving, adaptable, gorgeous and kind.   Gets along with all other creatures and loves the 4 year old toddler in the family.  A busy little boy who she loves to see.   If you interested in this girl please let us know and we will be so happy to send you an application if you email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  Please also tell us where you live:  city and state.  We are in Nashville, TN but we also transport northward from Tennessee to New England and stop in 5 states on our route northward.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 26, 2024, 2:09 pm

Razzle Taz has the most beautiful coal black eyes that pierce  your soul as he stares at you begging for some love and attention.  This boy was taken from an abusive family who were bragging to co-workers about kicking and tying him up.  The co-worker contacted Critter Cavalry and we found a wonderful foster family that is spending time getting to know Razzle Taz and what his emotional and physical needs will be in life.  This boy is 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds.  He is slim and  sleek and has the energy of 3 puppies.   This boy is so smart and curious and he needs mentally fun challenges daily and some real walking and exercise time in a fenced backyard or on the road running with an active person.  This boy is very smart and would benefit from games, flyball, agility classes, just thinking activities paired with exercise.  He is friendly with everyone and good with cats, dogs, children and ready to take on learning all he can about the world.   If your are interested in this Mountain Cur mix pup please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 26, 2024, 2:09 pm

Story
Introducing Bindi 🩵 She is a mountain cur mix with a hint of hound-like charm. At 2-3 years old, Bindi's light brindle coat is a sight to behold, but it's her sweet nature that truly shines. She's not just a pretty face; she's well-behaved and housebroken, making her the ideal companion for any family. Bindi's social, getting along well with other dogs, but she's just as content being the center of attention in a one-dog household. Her crate training and leash-walking skills make her a breeze to handle. You can even take her on road trips as she rides in the car without a fuss. Bindi's affectionate soul extends to her foster family’s grandkids; she adores their company. She has never shown aggression towards cats, but she might bark at them through the fence, so it's best to supervise her around feline friends. Bindi is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly, always ready to shower you with kisses and snuggles. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Bindi is your girl. Give her a chance, and you'll find a loving, four-legged family member who'll steal your heart. Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Kids 16 +Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesLilac is a sweet, lazy girl who is looking for a quiet home where she can play some fetch and then curl up in the dog bed and take a nap (her two favorite things). Lilac is wonderful with other dogs when properly introduced, and she loves to play. She would love a fenced yard to romp in. She can be leash reactive to new dogs, and though she has improved with training, this will always be something she needs to work on. For this reason, proper intros are a must with her.  She is also ecollar trained. so her perfect home would continue this training with her. She excels with structure and routine.Where Lilac still struggles greatly is with meeting new people in the home. Outside the home, and even a the vet, she is generally fine. When people that she does not know very very well come into the home, Lilac should be crated, leashed, or muzzled. She needs to be slowly introduced to new people, but once she gets to know you very very well, she's all in and is the kissiest, snuggliest girl.  She is even very sweet to pretty much everyone while muzzled, so that's an easy fix to keep her safe.  When people she does not know come into the home, she can get vocal,  but when introduced while muzzled she does fine.  Because of her reactivity to new people, a single family home is the best fit for her. She would not do well in an apartment. Lilac has had a long road, and while she has come a long way, she is very much still a work in progress. With the right family she will do just fine.Lilac's issues have happened in the past when her intros to new people coming into the home were not controlled.  So I can't emphasize enough that she needs to take it slow with new people :) But she will reward you for sure once you get to know her.Age: 9 yearsWeight: 45 lbsPlease Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. **MEET ME AT OUR 7/28 ADOPTION EVENT IN WAKEFIELD**Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Yes, dog savvy childrenCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: YesPetey is a lovable, goofy boy who is ready to be your best friend and family member! He is doing great in his current home where he is fostered with two other dogs in the home. His current foster shares that “Petey’s a good boy who’s going to make a great companion. He has a zest for life and would be the perfect adventure buddy for hikes and activities!”As he is nearing adulthood and working on his manners, his ideal home needs a patient owner who’s ready to provide him with structure and boundaries as he adjusts to his new home. Petey gets along well with dogs and plays great with dogs and continues to learn taking cues from other dogs. Because of his friendly, lively personality, he’d likely do best with dog-savvy kids in the home. He’s an active, medium-energy pup who loves to get his energy out with playtime or walks and then happily settle nearby with a bone.Petey is a smart boy who’s quickly picking up commands and would benefit from an owner excited to continue his training. He is fully crate trained and house trained. He is crated occasionally during the day and sleeps in there overnight without any issues. Petey would make a great doggy daycare candidate. He has zero accidents in the house. Petey’s leash skills are improving and will need some extra guidance as he gets acclimated to his new surroundings. Please consider this handsome boy, as he will keep you smiling with those dashing good looks! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website.
