Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Yes, dog savvy catsGood with kids: YesCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: YesMeet Viktoria! She’s a laid back girl who likes to balance out her playtime with plenty of time lying around the house. Viktoria is a gentle and affectionate pup who would do well in almost any home!Viktoria is a lover and willingly approaches new people to say hello. She met a 9-year-old kid recently and did great, and with her sweet nature and adaptability she would likely do well with kids of any age. Viktoria loves other dogs and shows off her social skills by adapting easily to their playstyles. She would have fun with a doggy sibling, but would also shine as the only pup in her home. While Viktoria has done well with the cats she’s met, she hasn’t lived with one before, so she would do best with dog-savvy cats. Viktoria is a fun, playful girl, and she enjoys goofing off with a toy or soaking up the affection of all of her admirers. This smart gal is house trained and crate trained. She’s regularly crated during full workdays and overnight (and she appreciates a treat for being so good!). Viktoria has been working hard on her leash manners. She’s a fast learner, so she will likely pick up new commands quickly and enjoy earning your praise.Viktoria is an all-around great dog who is excited to bring love and laughter to her new family. He does well with cats, largely ignoring them. Asher is a submissive pup who loves other dogs and is excellent at reading their cues. Asher is friendly with children and respects that they may not always want to play with him. His favorite toy is a snuffle mat and also loves to chase after balls.  This sweet pup is fully crate trained, and considers it his safe space.  He will settle in immediately when he’s crated during the day or overnight. He is fully housetrained and will whine to let you know he needs to go out.  This country boy is nervous around traffic sounds, but has been working hard on his confidence outside of the home and his leash skills.  With practice and consistency, he is already showing a lot of improvement in that area and will continue to get better with practice and patience.  He is very food motivated which has made teaching him sit, place, and down very easy.Asher is a sweet boy ready to blossom in a loving home. Story
Razzle Taz has the most beautiful coal black eyes that pierce  your soul as he stares at you begging for some love and attention.  This boy was taken from an abusive family who were bragging to co-workers about kicking and tying him up.  The co-worker contacted Critter Cavalry and we found a wonderful foster family that is spending time getting to know Razzle Taz and what his emotional and physical needs will be in life.  This boy is 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds.  He is slim and  sleek and has the energy of 3 puppies.   This boy is so smart and curious and he needs mentally fun challenges daily and some real walking and exercise time in a fenced backyard or on the road running with an active person.  This boy is very smart and would benefit from games, flyball, agility classes, just thinking activities paired with exercise.  He is friendly with everyone and good with cats, dogs, children and ready to take on learning all he can about the world.   If your are interested in this Mountain Cur mix pup please write to us atccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 30, 2024, 2:10 pm

Story
Oakley, affectionately known as 'Dottie girl ' by her foster family, has such a sweet, lovable, big personality and is very eager to please!  This Pit/Mountain Curr mix is a total Phoenix that has risen from the fires of neglect, abandonment and even successfully raised her litter of puppies in the woods for the first 10 weeks of life. They were all successfully adopted in the Fall and living wonderful lives of love and commitment from their families.  Oakley is the perfect girl that lives with anyone and everyone that comes her way.  She embraces all people and dogs and she just lives her life with resilience and tolerance.  This girl might not be a Golden Retriever in looks but she surpasses any of the commonly accepted breeds that everyone gravitates to and wants to adopt.  Take her Pit mix package look away and please consider only her SOUL?  Trust us, you will not want to look elsewhere for the most perfect and beautiful temperamented dog.  Oakley sits on command and walks nicely on a leash.  When she meets new people, she is so very social and she embraces all other dogs, adults and children alike.  This girl loves to play dress up in cozy sweaters and loves a good chew toy. HOW FUN!???? RIGHT?  If you have children she is right there to engage and play with them and their fantasies.  This Momma dog is just a young 2yr old, 40lb sweetheart who longs to be an inside dog that can cuddle up next to you on the couch and help you melt the life challenges away.   Oakley had outsmarted many rescuers for months running around the county with her litter of puppies being. When she gave in we realized what a remarkable Mom she was and the beauty of her puppies.  All of her puppies have been adopted, but now Oakley is raising her heart and hand to say…. Pick Me Too!  She deserves a remarkable future and life because she will provide the amazing dog companion to someone that can ever be imagined.  Forget the wrapper on the package and consider the heart please…You won’t regret living a life with Oakley. Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Please mention where you life when you ask for an application:  City and state.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 5, 2025, 12:55 pm
