A very sweet, human-loving boy, with endless silly-ness to share! Ezran loves every human he has met while being in his foster home. He has so much love to give, and will benefit greatly from consistent training. While still working on not jumping on people out of joy, Ezran is so excited to see everyone he meets, and he loves giving kisses. Ezran knows his basic commands (sit, down, paw) and is extremely smart and a great listener. He is house and crate trained! After not having been around dogs for 4 years, he was slowly introduced to a dog while in foster care and has been doing great. He is a shy boy when it comes to meeting dogs, but once he starts to warm up and feel comfortable he is a great doggy friend who understands cues and backs off when needed.Still is a puppy at heart. A moderately active family will suit his energy level best.  He loves a good game of fetch and will bring a toy/ball to you when he wants to play and he loves doing zoomies! He loves to sniff and go on walks, however will need additional help learning to not pull. It’s not his fault every smell must be sniffed!! After some fun, he loves to hang out and take a nap.  Ezran can be a nervous boy and will need a family that continues to work on his confidence. While in foster, he has shown tremendous improvement as time has progressed and he has gained trust. As much as he loves to be in your business, he also appreciates his space. As trust is gained, he has shown more and more willingness to share some cuddles. Ezran can’t wait to meet be introduced to his new, happy home, and to share all of the love in the world with his humans! Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Story
Razzle Taz has the most beautiful coal black eyes that pierce  your soul as he stares at you begging for some love and attention.  This boy was taken from an abusive family who were bragging to co-workers about kicking and tying him up.  The co-worker contacted Critter Cavalry and we found a wonderful foster family that is spending time getting to know Razzle Taz and what his emotional and physical needs will be in life.  This boy is 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds.  He is slim and  sleek and has the energy of 3 puppies.   This boy is so smart and curious and he needs mentally fun challenges daily and some real walking and exercise time in a fenced backyard or on the road running with an active person.  This boy is very smart and would benefit from games, flyball, agility classes, just thinking activities paired with exercise.  He is friendly with everyone and good with cats, dogs, children and ready to take on learning all he can about the world.   If your are interested in this Mountain Cur mix pup please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 15, 2024, 7:36 pm

Story
Introducing Bindi 🩵 She is a mountain cur mix with a hint of hound-like charm. At 2-3 years old, Bindi's light brindle coat is a sight to behold, but it's her sweet nature that truly shines. She's not just a pretty face; she's well-behaved and housebroken, making her the ideal companion for any family. Bindi's social, getting along well with other dogs, but she's just as content being the center of attention in a one-dog household. Her crate training and leash-walking skills make her a breeze to handle. You can even take her on road trips as she rides in the car without a fuss. Bindi's affectionate soul extends to her foster family’s grandkids; she adores their company. She has never shown aggression towards cats, but she might bark at them through the fence, so it's best to supervise her around feline friends. Bindi is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly, always ready to shower you with kisses and snuggles. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Bindi is your girl. Give her a chance, and you'll find a loving, four-legged family member who'll steal your heart. Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Kids 16 +Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesLilac is a sweet, lazy girl who is looking for a quiet home where she can play some fetch and then curl up in the dog bed and take a nap (her two favorite things). Lilac is wonderful with other dogs when properly introduced, and she loves to play. She would love a fenced yard to romp in. She can be leash reactive to new dogs, and though she has improved with training, this will always be something she needs to work on. For this reason, proper intros are a must with her.  She is also ecollar trained. so her perfect home would continue this training with her. She excels with structure and routine.Where Lilac still struggles greatly is with meeting new people in the home. Outside the home, and even a the vet, she is generally fine. When people that she does not know very very well come into the home, Lilac should be crated, leashed, or muzzled. She needs to be slowly introduced to new people, but once she gets to know you very very well, she's all in and is the kissiest, snuggliest girl.  She is even very sweet to pretty much everyone while muzzled, so that's an easy fix to keep her safe.  When people she does not know come into the home, she can get vocal,  but when introduced while muzzled she does fine.  Because of her reactivity to new people, a single family home is the best fit for her. She would not do well in an apartment. Lilac has had a long road, and while she has come a long way, she is very much still a work in progress. With the right family she will do just fine.Lilac's issues have happened in the past when her intros to new people coming into the home were not controlled.  So I can't emphasize enough that she needs to take it slow with new people :) But she will reward you for sure once you get to know her.Age: 9 yearsWeight: 45 lbsPlease Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Maggye is eager to please and is always ready to listen to the ‘sit’ command for a treat!Maggye is crate trained and quiet through the night, but takes a while to settle herself when she is crated during the day.
