A very sweet, human-loving boy, with endless silly-ness to share! Ezran loves every human he has met while being in his foster home. He has so much love to give, and will benefit greatly from consistent training. While still working on not jumping on people out of joy, Ezran is so excited to see everyone he meets, and he loves giving kisses. Ezran knows his basic commands (sit, down, paw) and is extremely smart and a great listener. He is house and crate trained! After not having been around dogs for 4 years, he was slowly introduced to a dog while in foster care and has been doing great. He is a shy boy when it comes to meeting dogs, but once he starts to warm up and feel comfortable he is a great doggy friend who understands cues and backs off when needed.Still is a puppy at heart. A moderately active family will suit his energy level best.  He loves a good game of fetch and will bring a toy/ball to you when he wants to play and he loves doing zoomies! He loves to sniff and go on walks, however will need additional help learning to not pull. It’s not his fault every smell must be sniffed!! After some fun, he loves to hang out and take a nap.  Ezran can be a nervous boy and will need a family that continues to work on his confidence. While in foster, he has shown tremendous improvement as time has progressed and he has gained trust. As much as he loves to be in your business, he also appreciates his space. As trust is gained, he has shown more and more willingness to share some cuddles. Ezran can’t wait to meet be introduced to his new, happy home, and to share all of the love in the world with his humans! Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Yes, dog savvy catsGood with kids: Unknown, likely yesCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: Yes Tony Hawk is an easy-going, fun-loving pup who’s ready to be your next companion! He is doing well being fostered in the suburbs with two doggy siblings, his foster currently shares, “Tony’s been one of the easiest puppy fosters I’ve had so far. One of my resident dogs can be selective of new dogs and absolutely adores him. He’ll be a great addition to any family ready for a puppy!”Tony is a medium energy pup, where he enjoys a good play session in the yard and then crashes for a two-hour nap immediately after. He gets along well with dogs of all ages and sizes and would do just fine with or without one in the home. He takes cues well from other dogs. Tony had some exposure to cats when fostered down south and had no issues with dog-savvy ones. While he’s not currently being fostered with kids, his friendly personality would likely be fine with one in the home.Tony is a smart boy who loves to sit for a treat and is eager to please. He is crate trained and house trained. He is crated throughout the day and may whimper for a few minutes but settle quickly. Also, he sleeps in the crate at night with no issues. Tony’s hasn’t had any accidents in the home yet since coming north but should be taken out on a regular schedule and routine as a young pup. He walks well on leash and enjoys his daily walks.Tony’s beautiful brindle coat and soulful brown eyes will have you falling in love in no time- is he the one for you? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. Story
Cali is a beautiful 8 month old female Mountain Cur, who I fostered in South Carolina when I was at school. My plan was to foster her until she found a forever home in S, but I got too attached that I brought her back to MA with me. I decided to take a semester off of school so I could work and be there to take care of Cali. I would love to keep her but my 3 year old American Bulldog just doesn’t like the attention being shared so he is jealous and getting aggressive. When thinking of a new home, I would say that the perfect home would have a fenced in back yard, so that way Cali can run around, and I want to make sure that the new potential owners are active, because Cali loves to be outside and stay active.

Story
Introducing Bindi 🩵 She is a mountain cur mix with a hint of hound-like charm. At 2-3 years old, Bindi's light brindle coat is a sight to behold, but it's her sweet nature that truly shines. She's not just a pretty face; she's well-behaved and housebroken, making her the ideal companion for any family. Bindi's social, getting along well with other dogs, but she's just as content being the center of attention in a one-dog household. Her crate training and leash-walking skills make her a breeze to handle. You can even take her on road trips as she rides in the car without a fuss. Bindi's affectionate soul extends to her foster family’s grandkids; she adores their company. She has never shown aggression towards cats, but she might bark at them through the fence, so it's best to supervise her around feline friends. Bindi is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly, always ready to shower you with kisses and snuggles. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Bindi is your girl. Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Kids 16 +Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesLilac is a sweet, lazy girl who is looking for a quiet home where she can play some fetch and then curl up in the dog bed and take a nap (her two favorite things). Lilac is wonderful with other dogs when properly introduced, and she loves to play. She would love a fenced yard to romp in. She can be leash reactive to new dogs, and though she has improved with training, this will always be something she needs to work on. For this reason, proper intros are a must with her.  She is also ecollar trained. so her perfect home would continue this training with her. She excels with structure and routine.Where Lilac still struggles greatly is with meeting new people in the home. Outside the home, and even a the vet, she is generally fine. When people that she does not know very very well come into the home, Lilac should be crated, leashed, or muzzled. She needs to be slowly introduced to new people, but once she gets to know you very very well, she's all in and is the kissiest, snuggliest girl.  She is even very sweet to pretty much everyone while muzzled, so that's an easy fix to keep her safe.  When people she does not know come into the home, she can get vocal,  but when introduced while muzzled she does fine.  Because of her reactivity to new people, a single family home is the best fit for her. She would not do well in an apartment. Lilac has had a long road, and while she has come a long way, she is very much still a work in progress. With the right family she will do just fine.Lilac's issues have happened in the past when her intros to new people coming into the home were not controlled.  So I can't emphasize enough that she needs to take it slow with new people :) But she will reward you for sure once you get to know her.Age: 9 yearsWeight: 45 lbsPlease Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. She is doing well adjusting to northern life, her foster shares, “Maggye is a spirited gal who is the life of the party. She can be your go-to buddy for hiking and activities- the possibilities are endless. Maggye would make a great addition to any home who’s excited to continue her training and show her the world!”Maggye is a medium-high energy gal who loves to play fetch and romp around the yard but then is ready to cuddle on the couch by her humans. She gets along well with other dogs and is still learning to take cues, so she’d be fine with another canine sibling in the home with a bit of space and time to get to know them. She has been neutral with cats, so she’d likely be fine with a dog-savvy cat in the home. As Maggye is a typical puppy and learning boundaries, she would likely be fine with older, dog-savvy kids. She is a smart girl, as she knows several commands including ‘sit’ and ‘place’. Maggye is crate trained and housetrained. She can be crated occasionally in the day after sufficient exercise, and sleeps in there overnight without any issues. Maggye is housetrained with no accidents in the past few weeks and will continue to do well when taken out on a regular structure and routine. She is improving on her leash skills and enjoys her daily walks. Maggye will thrive with a patient owner who can uphold structure and boundaries to set her up for success as she navigates her new environment.Maggye’s zest for life and beautiful green eyes will have you falling in love in no time- is she the one for you? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. She is always down for a walk or a romp with another dog. When she gets tired of playing with the other dogs in the yard, she will lay down and watch them. She is very smart and pays attention to everything. She is an excellent car rider and loves going for rides. She is quiet in her crate and would probably be fine in an apartment with regular exercise.Little Bit Bit has played well with two small puppies and with a dog her size. She is not a very pushy player and respects when another dog does not want to play. She was overly fixated on the cats she met so would do best in a cat-free home. She has met young children and did well. She might bump into them by accident or try to jump up when she's excited, but she takes treats gently and allows kids to take toys from her.She will follow a treat or her food into the crate, settles very quickly with no accidents. She does not have accidents in the house either. She does need some more work on her leash manners. Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website.
