MEET MANNY! - I am in a foster home, please come meet Sunday 7/5 or contact the dedham shelter to learn more!Manny is an intelligent and enthusiastic young dog whose favorite activities include rolling in the grass, entertaining himself with squeaky toys, and going on car rides. His claims to fame are that he is very well potty trained in his foster home and he can be left alone each day for a few hours in his crate. He greets new people by rubbing up against them like a cat, and greets new dogs with a play bow and wagging tail. He bonds hard to his people and enjoys sleeping every night in his foster`s bed. He would benefit greatly from an adopter who can keep up his structured routine as well as give him all the enrichment he needs. Because of his exuberance, he would thrive in a home without young children, and especially one with another social active dog to play with.Manny is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on Manny or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170 or stop by our shelter. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. Maple is a very sweet almost 4 year old dog. She has a lot of energy, and can take some time to settle down, but will. About once a week she pees inside, at this time for a reason unbeknownst to us and our vet. She is very good at staying home alone with our other dog while we are at work. Maybe someone with a farm, or a lot of acres, and more time to work out some of her energy would be better suited for her. She likes to run, and likes to cuddle - when she gets there. We sadly think our very sweet dog just needs a home that can give her a little more attention

Clara is a 10‑month‑old, 40‑lb Plott Hound mix who truly beat the odds. She survived the shelter when her brother and sister heartbreakingly did not, and she’s determined to make her second chance count. Despite her rough start, Clara is pure sunshine — social, happy, and instantly in love with every person and dog she meets. She’s an adventurer at heart, always ready to explore, run in the yard, or proudly parade around with her favorite chew toy. Keeping busy makes her happiest. When the day winds down, Clara becomes the world’s sweetest snuggler. She’ll press her whole body against you, soaking up every bit of love she can get. Clara is vaccinated, spayed, and needs a new home immediately. A fenced‑in yard is highly recommended so she can safely enjoy the freedom she loves.
