Story
Drake 🐾 This handsome brindle boy is Drake ! He is a cur mix, possibly a Tennessee Treeing Cur. Drake is a happy, playful puppy who loves hanging with the big dogs in his foster home. He following the other dogs around and has so much fun no matter what they are up to. He also loves his people and is the sweetest snuggle bug once he gets his energy out. Not only is Drake adorable, he is very smart as well. He is crate trained and doing great with house training. Drake would love a fenced in yard and some older children and or a furry friend or two to play with. He is an excellent rider and would definitely want to be included in all the fun adventures. If Drake sounds perfect for your family, please submit the adoption app. He can’t wait to join his new family. 🎉

Story
Meet Pongo, an 8-month-old Mountain Cur mix with a sweet, quirky personality that will steal your heart! This handsome pup may be a little shy when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly, and once he does, he’s all about snuggles. Pongo has a special trick up his sleeve: when he wants to “hide,” he burrows under the covers and adorably puts his paw over his eyes—convinced you can’t see him if he does that! He’s crate trained, walks like a pro on a leash, and loves playing with dogs of all sizes. Pongo is incredibly smart and eager to learn. If you’re looking for a loving and playful buddy with a dash of goofiness, Pongo could be your perfect match! Story
Meet Luca — a little fella with a nub tail, squat legs and possibly the most unusual breed mix ever!  The breed results are in, and we have discovered that Luca’s mom is a Mountain Cur and Pekingese mix!  She was found with Luca and his siblings and weighs about 20 to 25 lbs. Luca’s dad is an almost equal mix of Siberian Husky, Labrador retriever, American pit bull terrier and Norwegian Elkhound!  So what does all that add up to? The most adorable little boy who will be a great size when fully grown, probably around 40 lbs give or take. Luca is currently approaching four months old at the end of February, and he’s already fully potty trained!  Luca and his siblings were found dumped with their mama before a cold spell in January. Sadly, Luca and his brother Levi, who are now in a foster home together, were likely never shown any human affection prior to coming to rescue. They immediately loved the other dogs in their foster home, but they had to learn to trust the humans.  A few weeks later, both boys are total mama’s boys. They’ve gone from hiding in their own puppy pile to napping fully splayed out on their backs and waiting for belly rubs. If there’s an open lap, they run to sit on it. Luca is the more shy one of the two brothers, but he enjoys being held and getting all the belly rubs. He clings tight to the people he knows and loves.  Luca is excellent with other dogs and loves to play, so we would love to find him a forever home with a confident, friendly dog that could set a good example and be a best friend. But we’re open to human-only homes if there are opportunities for him to socialize with other dogs often. Overall, we’re looking for a home with the time to take on a puppy who needs lots of love and attention. The potty training part is done, and Luca is ready for what’s next with his new forever family! Story
**AVAILABLE FOR PRE APPROVAL FOR FEB 21** Say hello to Kallum! Arriving Feb 21, Kallum is a male possible mountain cur/lab retriever mix. He's as cute as he is curious, a tan little bundle of energy with a playful streak and just the right amount of sass. He bounces through life like every day is the best day ever (because to him, it is!). He's the kind of pup who turns a simple toy into the main event, zooms around like he's training for the Puppy Olympics, and then suddenly crashes into the sweetest cuddle session like nothing ever happened. One minute he's making you laugh with his goofy antics, the next he's looking up at you with his beautiful eyes like you're his whole world. Kallum loves to be part of the action - whether that's following you around the house, supervising snack time, or showing off him impressive zoomie skills. He's curious, clever, and always ready for the next adventure (even if that adventure is just exploring the backyard like it's uncharted territory). If you're looking for a fun, happy little sidekick who will keep you smiling, Kallum is your guy!
