Story
Hello, my name is Jasper. I was named after the gemstone, Jasper. I am as sweet as a sugar, but as playful as can be. I am always happy to see you. I am loving life. My new family has to like a fellow with a lot of energy. My new family I would like to hike, go to the beach, go camping, and love to play in the backyard. My original family kept me tied up with little water and even a smaller amount of shade. The lady who rescued me along with my friends Terra and Osa knew I did not have any chance of surviving. So, like she has with so many human parents, go up and demand I am released. Not just because it was right, but because she knew it would be saving my life. Happily, 2 years ago I was surrendered to my rescuerer's rescue. Today everything is forgotten. But for sure, I want my own family. It does not matter if they have a fur sibling for me or not. I will bring so much joy and many hours of happiness. Please request an application, place a deposit to start my journey home. Jasper Male Neutered Breed English Pointer mix color White and black Age 5 yrs old Weight 45lbs Great with people, children, dogs/ puppies Adoption Donation $355 Carlton Rescue- Operation Puppy Love 501c3 ❤️ 🐾 🐾 ❤️ (Like us on Facebook)

Meet Our Farm-Fresh Trio! When a call for help went out over Facebook, these three sweet puppies and their mama were cold, hungry, and in desperate need of rescue. Thankfully, a kind-hearted team stepped in just in time. Now safe, healthy, and thriving on a farm, these pups have been showered with love and exposed to all the best life has to offer—kids, other dogs, cats, alpacas, and more! Each one is playful, well-socialized, and ready for their next big adventure: a forever home in New England. They’ll be arriving in mid-May and can’t wait to meet you!Breed: PointerAge: 9 weeksWeight: Growing daily Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. All vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter.Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age)Housetrained: Not usuallyMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently: Tennessee Puppy Adoption Fee: $600.00 (includes a spay/neuter surgery rebate to be paid to the adopter when proof of spay/neuter is provided to Paws New England). We can provide adopters with a list of low-cost SN clinics when requested. The adoption fee also includes the transport fee when applicableATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact. PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England. Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.IMPORTANT INFORMATIONPaws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England. Story
Meet Tommy, an affectionate young terrier-hound mix in search of his forever home. This playful pup absolutely loves the company of other dogs and brings a joyful, social energy wherever he goes. He’s affectionately known for his “Tommy Time”—his own adorable spin on the zoomies that’s sure to make you laugh. Whether he’s darting around the yard or chasing his favorite stuffed toys, Tommy knows how to have a good time. Though he can be a little reserved at first, Tommy warms up quickly and becomes a total cuddlebug. He’s curious about the world and has met a cat before—he did well, though he hasn’t lived with one. He also has excellent recall; call his name, and he’ll come running with enthusiasm. Fully house and crate trained, Tommy is a well-mannered companion who’s ready to bring love, fun, and plenty of “Tommy Time” to his new home. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful pup, Tommy might be the perfect match. Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 40 lbs  Age 2 years       Sweet Stubby was found wandering alone in a rural part of Mississippi, and taken in by an elderly man who fell in love with this gentle boy but couldn’t keep him. He called Wags for help and the rescue took him in, The man’s grandson named him Stubby for his little short legs!     Stubby is a sweet boy, he is gentle and gets along fine with all the dogs at the rescue. He was recently neutered and has all his vaccinations and is ready for a loving home. Stubby absolutely loves to be with his people, he follows the director of the rescue all over the property, his little tail wagging. He is gentle with children and just a great family dog. Stubby is house trained at Wags but like any rescue may need a refresher while he adjusted to a new home.   Stubby is ready to come to the northeast on Saturday, March 8. He will make a wonderful member of the family.       Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. For more information on adopting Marshmallow or any of our Wags dogs please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com    May 18, 2025, 6:51 pm
