Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Adorable Alyssa is looking for her forever home.  She is currently with one of our sister rescues in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved adopters. This beautiful 1-year-old girl has stolen everyone's hearts.  At just 42 pounds, Alyssa is the sweetest soul you'll ever meet.  he is shy, terrified and timid in the shelter- loud noises and new faces are overwhelming-but behind those gentle eyes is a trusting spirit who just wants to be loved. Day by day, Alyssa is blossoming and is taking treats from volunteers and leaning in for gentle pets.  With patience, kindness and a safe place to land Alyssa will continue to come out of her shell and show her true loving self.  She loves other dogs and looks to them for comfort. If you are looking for a loving girl who truly needs a second chance, Alyssa is your girl Alyssa is fixed, up to date on shots and is currently going through her heartworm treatment, she can come to NJ once completed. Her  adoption fee is $450.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to wag-on-inn.com. To apply, click HERE or on our website, go to Adoptable Pets and Adoption Application. A Wag On Inn volunteer will be in touch soon!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 26, 2025, 9:10 pm

Nix is a friendly and playful boy with a lot of energy (and the cutest ears!) He would do best in an active home. He loves people, loves to play and is good with kids over 10. Nix is house trained, sleeps in his crate all night and has learned the  sit, paw, down, leave it, drop it and come commands. He's currently working on stay. He's also very calm on car rides.  He is super cute in cartoon-y kinda way.  Nix is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. His legs are very slightly bowed but we are hoping this improves with good nutrition. Nix has been neutered and has a microchip. Story
Puppuccino is also a social butterfly, so sweet that she will fly right into your heart! Puppuccino is about 3 years old and weighs 60 lbs. Puppuccino loves everyone she meets, big and small! She has incredible leash manners and according to her foster, "walks like a dream". Puppuccino is an athletic gal and enjoys zoomies around a yard. Ladybug is super affectionate, nuzzling her nose into your neck and fall asleep. Her foster says "she makes you smile and fills your heart with joy!" Ladybug is super smart and quickly learning her manners. Poor Ladybug was found as a stray in the big city, and taken to the over crowded shelter. She was terrified at the shelter, and that fear led her to be at risk for euthanasia. Thankfully, a loving foster stepped up to give this precious soul her second chance at life. Now, Puppuccino gets to enjoy learning how to be a dog while she waits for her forever home! Ladybug enjoys the company of select male dogs, but has not done well with female dogs or cats. She would do best as your one and only pet, but she sure is ready to soak up all that love! She adores children and is very respectful and shows great manners around small children. Puppuccino is fully vetted, spayed, micro chipped, and ready to go home with YOU! If you can open your heart & home to dear Puppuccino, please contact AmsterDog by call/text at 917-689-8414 or by email at info@amsterdog.org. Apply to adopt Puppuccino at AmsterDog.org. Thanks for caring about a pet in need! Come meet Puppuccino, she is a gem of a girl, just waiting to shine for her new family! Ladybug is currently being fostered in East Stroudsburg, PA
