Story
This sweet puppy is Bowie and he's 6 month old Cur & Plott Hound mix who weighs 35 pounds. He'll likely be 60-70 pounds when he's fully grown. Bowie's sister was just adopted and now it's his turn! He is living with a great Foster Mom who says he's a very sweet boy who is happy and playful and loves everyone he meets including kids! He gets along great with other pups and we think he'll do fine with cats too but his Foster Mom will be testing him soon. Bowie is such a good boy and we want him to have a wonderful and active family who will give him an awesome life. We think he'd thrive in a suburban area and fully fenced yard. He's healthy, up to date on all his vaccinations, house-trained and crate trained. Reach out to Long Road Home Rescue (lrhrescue@gmail.com) to find out more about him and get videos of him.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Glen (TX) is a male plot hound/ mountain curr mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Glen is 1 years old at the time of intake in November 2024. Glen was found tied up to an air conditioner, on a black leather couch outside in the hot Texas sun. Just when he was about to give up on life, RDR took him in and now he has a new outlook on life. He is the sweetest little guy- look at that face. Who could do that to an innocent pup?If you can show Glen he is loved, please apply online to adopt Glen (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 14, 2025, 1:22 am

Story
Meet Alexis! Alexis is an adorable 4 month puppy (Sept ) and 14 pounds. He is the brother to Alexander who is also up for adoption with us! They are both very playful but a little shy meeting new people at first, but they warm up! If interested in adopting, please complete our application - you can copy and paste: https://www.miraclesforsatosrescue.org/adoption-foster-application ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently in Puerto Rico. Once an adopter is fully approved, transport will be arranged to the New York/NJ area. We DO adopt out of state, but you must come to pick up. In addition, if you are applying for this dog or any of our pups, you must be open to dog psychology/behavior (Cesar Millan) and fulfilling the needs of the dog. We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority. We ask that you please make sure if interested in a puppy or high energy breed that you are ready for this time consuming/daily endeavor and have patience as this is a long term commitment (could be 15+ years). Please consider your future lifestyle after COVID. Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment is the most important thing in caring for a dog. In addition we cannot guarantee breed of any dog or expected adult size of a puppy. Thank you for understanding.

Story
Puppuccino is also a social butterfly, so sweet that she will fly right into your heart! Puppuccino is about 3 years old and weighs 60 lbs. Puppuccino loves everyone she meets, big and small! She has incredible leash manners and according to her foster, "walks like a dream". Puppuccino is an athletic gal and enjoys zoomies around a yard. Ladybug is super affectionate, nuzzling her nose into your neck and fall asleep. Her foster says "she makes you smile and fills your heart with joy!" Ladybug is super smart and quickly learning her manners. Poor Ladybug was found as a stray in the big city, and taken to the over crowded shelter. She was terrified at the shelter, and that fear led her to be at risk for euthanasia. Thankfully, a loving foster stepped up to give this precious soul her second chance at life. Now, Puppuccino gets to enjoy learning how to be a dog while she waits for her forever home! Ladybug enjoys the company of select male dogs, but has not done well with female dogs or cats. She would do best as your one and only pet, but she sure is ready to soak up all that love! She adores children and is very respectful and shows great manners around small children. Puppuccino is fully vetted, spayed, micro chipped, and ready to go home with YOU! If you can open your heart & home to dear Puppuccino, please contact AmsterDog by call/text at 917-689-8414 or by email at info@amsterdog.org. Apply to adopt Puppuccino at AmsterDog.org. Thanks for caring about a pet in need! Come meet Puppuccino, she is a gem of a girl, just waiting to shine for her new family! Ladybug is currently being fostered in East Stroudsburg, PA
