Sheldon is a 1.5 year old and a Mountain Cur mix who weighs around 75 lbs. He has been in our care for almost a year now and still hasn’t found a home. Sheldon is still a very shy and anxious pup around new people (no aggression though!) but once he starts to trust and know you, he is super sweet. In his current foster home, Sheldon loves to sit and look out the windows watching the cars and people outside. He LOVES treats and knows some basic commands as well. While Sheldon does enjoy his playtime, he also equally enjoys downtime resting on the couch. He’s a gentle pup who just loves to be close to you and get all the love and affection he deserves. Sheldon would do best in a home with children over the age of 12 given his shy demeanor. Sheldon is neutered, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. Razzle Taz has the most beautiful coal black eyes that pierce your soul as he stares at you begging for some love and attention. This boy was taken from an abusive family who were bragging to co-workers about kicking and tying him up. The co-worker contacted Critter Cavalry and we found a wonderful foster family that is spending time getting to know Razzle Taz and what his emotional and physical needs will be in life. This boy is 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds. He is slim and sleek and has the energy of 3 puppies. This boy is so smart and curious and he needs mentally fun challenges daily and some real walking and exercise time in a fenced backyard or on the road running with an active person. This boy is very smart and would benefit from games, flyball, agility classes, just thinking activities paired with exercise. He is friendly with everyone and good with cats, dogs, children and ready to take on learning all he can about the world. Hi there! I'm Ritz, and I'm here to tell you why I'm the best buddy you'll ever have. I’m about 2 years old and 62 lbs of pure sweetness. If you’re looking for a pup who makes everyone smile, then look no further! I’m sweet, happy, and just love being around people. I came from Georgia, where I was hanging out with my best friend in the shelter (see the last photo on my EHR profile page). Unfortunately, I was the only one who made it out because my buddy was euthanized due to lack of space. While I miss him dearly, I was lucky enough to avoid that same fate and I’m holding onto hope that my person (or people!) is out there, just waiting for a loveable guy like me. Here's what you should know about me: I’m super friendly and get along great with other dogs, so if you’ve got a furry friend already, I’ll fit right in. I love to play, cuddle, and just be with you wherever you are. Kids? I’m awesome with them too—I'm gentle, loving, and just the best companion. I come crate-trained and fully house-trained! My foster mom says I adore EVERYONE I meet (I mean, who wouldn’t want to be my friend, right?). I’m just an all-around great dog. I do feel a little anxious when I’m left alone though, so having another dog to hang out with would make me feel even more secure. I love playing with toys, can entertain you with my goofy antics, and am eager to please. I’m neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, which means I’m all set to start my new adventure with you. My adoption fee is $415.
