Meet Owen!  A handsome, goofy boy who enjoys swimming, playing with other dogs and his toys. Owen is 3 years old and just under 70 lbs.  He is a total ham who doesn’t realize he is not a lap dog. Owen thinks he is a giant puppy (we won’t tell him he’s actually an adult). His foster mom describes him as a puppy in a full-size dogs body. Owen is crate and potty trained. Cats are a little too interesting to Owen, so no feline friends for this hunk. While he is great with his human foster siblings (ages 5 & 9), he does jump when excited. Once he’s past that though, he is just a big potato who wants a family to call his own. Owen will even humor you and wear a silly hat for picture time. What’s not to love? Ripple was found at a Truck Stop and taken in by a Good Samaritan. Although they gave him a temporary living situation, his "fosters" want to find a better life for this wonderful boy.  Ripple is about 1 1/2 years old and weighs 45 pounds. He is neutered and up to date on all shots. Ripple is housebroken and crate trained. He gets along well with dogs but should not go to a home with cats! This boy is a total cuddle bug, so sweet, who loves people and is just always happy. If he lays by you, he has to be touching you - he's a real snuggly boy! My name is Newton! I am a really really handsome boy. I am 2 years old and honestly, I need someone to take a chance on me. I am a mix of hound, maybe some mountain dog and venturing to say some Aussie. I am longing for a chance to sit on the couch with my humans and get lots of love and playtime. I am a nice boy! I am good with other dogs (we are unsure of cats and because I probably have some herding breed in me, we should stay away from the felines for now). I am playful, I love to walk and have fun outdoor adventures. This is what would work for me in a new home. A fenced in yard would be perfect for me and a single family home would be ideal. My family/person needs to be relatively active - a person that will put a little time into some basic training, take me for walks or hikes or maybe even a mild jog sometimes.   Reba McIntyre….one of the smartest ladies in country music is who our girl is named after.  Our Black Mouth Cur mix girl (look up this unique breed and know that she is everything and more) is as smart as she is beautiful!  Our foster mom Angela who found her and her three brothers on the side of a country, rural road, says that Reba and her sibs are survivors.  But as usual you can expect that little Miss Reba is special with a sweet and gentle personality that also brings a calmness to all those around her.   Although they were found roaming on a back road, this girl is far from being a wanderer.  Actually she and her brothers quickly settled into knowing their foster home and all the rules and soon were the best little guests!
