Story
Meet Owen!  A handsome, goofy boy who enjoys swimming, playing with other dogs and his toys. Owen is 3 years old and just under 70 lbs.  He is a total ham who doesn’t realize he is not a lap dog. Owen thinks he is a giant puppy (we won’t tell him he’s actually an adult). His foster mom describes him as a puppy in a full-size dogs body. Owen is crate and potty trained. Cats are a little too interesting to Owen, so no feline friends for this hunk. While he is great with his human foster siblings (ages 5 & 9), he does jump when excited. Once he’s past that though, he is just a big potato who wants a family to call his own. Owen will even humor you and wear a silly hat for picture time. What’s not to love? He truly is a love bug!! If you would like to meet to OWEN, apply at EHRdogs.org.May 12, 2024, 2:14 am

Story
Meet Milo -- he’s an energetic, confident Mountain Cur pup with a heart of gold! At just under 1 y/o and 45ish lbs, he's a natural-born leader and loves to be on the go. Milo's always eager to learn and work, which makes him a perfect fit for farm, working, or active households. He's not one to mess around - Milo's all about pleasing his human and knowing what's expected of him. He already knows commands like Sit, Come and Stay.  Milo is also a social butterfly, having lived with small and large dogs and even feline friends (although he sometimes gets a bit frisky). While he's sure to be a hit with school-aged kids, his boundless energy might be a bit much for little ones. Whatever adventure comes his way, Milo is ready to take on the world with a wagging tail and a smile!  If you'd like to meet Milo, please visit ehrdogs.org and fill out an application.   May 12, 2024, 2:14 am

Story
Ripple was found at a Truck Stop and taken in by a Good Samaritan. Although they gave him a temporary living situation, his "fosters" want to find a better life for this wonderful boy.  Ripple is about 1 1/2 years old and weighs 45 pounds. He is neutered and up to date on all shots. Ripple is housebroken and crate trained. He gets along well with dogs but should not go to a home with cats! This boy is a total cuddle bug, so sweet, who loves people and is just always happy. If he lays by you, he has to be touching you - he's a real snuggly boy! If you've got a place in your heart and home for Ripple, please fill out an adoption application at www.ehrdogs.org and be sure to ask for him by name, RIPPLE NJ! May 12, 2024, 2:14 am

Story
My name is Newton! I am a really really handsome boy. I am 2 years old and honestly, I need someone to take a chance on me. I am a mix of hound, maybe some mountain dog and venturing to say some Aussie. I am longing for a chance to sit on the couch with my humans and get lots of love and playtime. I am a nice boy! I am good with other dogs (we are unsure of cats and because I probably have some herding breed in me, we should stay away from the felines for now). I am playful, I love to walk and have fun outdoor adventures. This is what would work for me in a new home. A fenced in yard would be perfect for me and a single family home would be ideal. My family/person needs to be relatively active - a person that will put a little time into some basic training, take me for walks or hikes or maybe even a mild jog sometimes. Did I tell you I won a race with my caretaker! That's me in the picture at the race! I have not been around young kids so ASCZ is recommending kids 10+. I have always welcomed new faces and may jump with excitement. I will need some housebreaking work when I go into my new home. I am 2 years old so it shouldn't take me long and I am SMART. I am kind of like a big kid who wants to play and have a lot of fun. If you are interested in giving me a chance in a real home setting, please apply here! ASCZ will be very excited to talk to you! https://asecondchanceforziva.org/adopt/adoption-process-application/

Story
Reba McIntyre….one of the smartest ladies in country music is who our girl is named after.  Our Black Mouth Cur mix girl (look up this unique breed and know that she is everything and more) is as smart as she is beautiful!  Our foster mom Angela who found her and her three brothers on the side of a country, rural road, says that Reba and her sibs are survivors.  But as usual you can expect that little Miss Reba is special with a sweet and gentle personality that also brings a calmness to all those around her.   Although they were found roaming on a back road, this girl is far from being a wanderer.  Actually she and her brothers quickly settled into knowing their foster home and all the rules and soon were the best little guests! They never leave your side! Reba and her brothers have been with small children, cats, other dogs, cows, and birds (the Guineas and chickens sleep on top of their dog house)  and aside from an intial curiosity they are overall passive about other animals and young toddlers and kids!  We think these pups are 4 months old and Reba might be a 60 pound girl (tops) when fully grown.  A good substantial but not huge girl that will be ready to observe, learn and obey your every command given with respect.  This girl could be a small farm girl that exists with the livestock that most dogs have no experience with.  Think about it.  She is the diamond in the rough and the true gem to be considered to adopt.  She is the IT girl puppy!   Please contact us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested in the soul and not just the looks   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 11, 2024, 12:11 pm
