Meet Owen! A handsome, block headed, goofy boy who enjoys swimming, playing in the yard, and his toys. Owen is 3 years old and just under 70lbs. He is a total ham who doesn’t realize he is not a lap dog. Owen thinks he is a giant puppy (we won’t tell him he’s actually an adult). He has been described as a puppy in a full-size dogs body. &#226&#128&#139 Cats are a little too interesting to Owen, so no feline friends for this hunk. While he was great with human siblings before (ages 5 & 9), he does jump when excited. Once he’s past that though, he is just a big potato who wants a family to call his own. This gal has been at the shelter since she was a day old. Her momma was in an abandoned house and brought to us during the snowstorms in January. She and her sister are the last 2 babies to find homes. Abra is more outgoing and eager to greet people. She is always a happy face to see and loves people. She has the puppy energy and will need all the puppy basic training. She is a fun girl to be around. She gets along with other pups her size, she hasn’t been around too many larger dogs. She will probably be around 40lbs when full grown as that’s what her mama is, we have no idea about the dad.

Asha’s owners loved her but had a farm, and she had a taste for the owner's chickens and chose to surrender her. Asha is high-energy and loves to play, but also loves her snuggles and being with people. She has tested well with dogs, but due to her prey drive towards chickens, we are hesitant to suggest a home with small animals/cats. Asha is heartworm-negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for her new home. This furbaby is located at Animal Harbor in southern middle TN. On March 29th of this year 2024, our beautiful Lumina gave birth to 12 puppies and raised everyone of them to a place that they are now seeking adoptions. Every0ne of these precious babies survived because of the great love and mothering skills of this Mountain Cur mix girl. We call her Lumina because she illuminates the world with her kind spirit and sweetness. When you look into her eyes you see a connection of love and hope. Lumina was a stray and discovered by a woman in Tennessee right at the time that she was almost ready to give birth. Lumina has a calm spirit and someone will be so lucky to have her as their very own. She has some anxiety about being left alone but with time she will come to understand that she will not be abandoned by new family. She is housebroken pretty much and easy going and goes with the flow within a family’s lifestyle rhythm. She is loving, adaptable, gorgeous and kind. Gets along with all other creatures and loves the 4 year old toddler in the family. A busy little boy who she loves to see. Razzle Taz has the most beautiful coal black eyes that pierce your soul as he stares at you begging for some love and attention. This boy was taken from an abusive family who were bragging to co-workers about kicking and tying him up. The co-worker contacted Critter Cavalry and we found a wonderful foster family that is spending time getting to know Razzle Taz and what his emotional and physical needs will be in life. This boy is 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds. He is slim and sleek and has the energy of 3 puppies. This boy is so smart and curious and he needs mentally fun challenges daily and some real walking and exercise time in a fenced backyard or on the road running with an active person. This boy is very smart and would benefit from games, flyball, agility classes, just thinking activities paired with exercise. He is friendly with everyone and good with cats, dogs, children and ready to take on learning all he can about the world. Say "Aloha" to Bingo who came all the way from Hawaii to NJ! He's a sweet Catahoula mix pup that gets along great with all people and other dogs. Cats are an unknown. Bingo is happy & friendly with children. In his previous home, he lived with an 11 and 14 year old - he would give lots of kisses to the girls as they petted him. He's a very loving boy. Bingo is 1 1/2 years old and a nice medium size at 36 pounds. He is neutered, microchipped and current on his shots too. He is also both house and crate trained (he is used to being crated when he is alone and slept in a crate in one of the children's bedrooms). Bingo enjoys going for walks or hikes and would make a good walking buddy. He would do best in a more rural environment as the noises of city life make him stressed. Bingo's adoption fee is $415.
