Story
Aldo was found on Lower Gratis Rd. in Jackson Township just east of Preble County Line Rd.  He had been sighted in the fields in that area for a couple weeks.  He was wearing a harness that was wrapped around his left front leg.  He was a very scared boy so he had to be trapped, but he was hungry so it didn't take long.  Other than an ear infection and irritated skin on his leg, he was a healthy boy.  He is super sweet.  He is crate trained, well behaved, and loves kids.  ##1646656##

Story
Are you looking for a dog who can do it all? Then I'm your pup - I love snuggling AND being active! My name is Neda. I was born in rescue and have loved being spoiled by my foster family for the last 4 months. I love everyone! My human foster family, my canine foster siblings, and even my cat friends! I do a great job of leaving the cats alone. I really love kids and I cuddle with my 9 year old foster sibling all the time. I'm an adventurous and playful girl but I just really like to be with my people. I know how to sit, sit before my food bowl is put down, and take treats gently. I'm working on stay and walking on a leash. I love to play outside and chew on all the sticks I can find. When it's time to settle down I really love to cuddle. I will come up to you and ask to get on your lap if you let me. I can keep you company while you watch Netflix or even play video games. I am a very sweet and smart girl that is looking for my perfect family. Adopt me today! Neda is spayed, microchipped and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee is $250.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   May 30, 2023, 10:16 pm

Story
Meet Cherry 🍒 2 year old, Mixed breed, 30lbs, female Cherry came to us a few months ago after she was abandoned in a parking lot with cardboard box full of newborn pups. Luckily a Good Samaritan picked her up and got her to safety. She had 8 beautiful pups and she was such a good mommy. Now it’s her turn to find a forever home! She is on the submissive side and good with other dogs. She is house trained, although we do think she has never lived indoors with a family. We are working on her confidence and she will need a patient home. Cherry is very sweet and loves her belly rubbed. We believe she may be a Mountain Cur mix. Cherry is now current on vaccines, heart worm tested negative, spay, and microchipped. We are accepting applications at https://form.jotform.com/secondhandpaws/app
