Story
Tate is a very sweet mountain cur mix that we rescued from the SPCA, estimated age of 18 months (neutered, fully vaccinated, etc). I am a busy mother of three kids, and we really wanted to invite a dog into our home. Unfortunately, we do not have a lot of time for formal training, so he was put in a two week board and train program in order to get a strong foundation in obedience. The trainers did not do a great job because he ended the program without consistently responding to commands. Since we do not have time to do the training on our own or want to spend the money to hire another trainer, we need to find him a different home. Our lives are too hectic to have an untrained dog and he deserves a home that can be more patient with him. It is very sad for our family, but we are hopeful that he will be welcomed into a loving and comfortable home.

Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Cameo - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Cameo, a beautiful name for a beautiful gal like me. I have the sweet natured attitude that will make me a great family addition. At 2 years old, I'm also at a great age where as I'm still playful but way past that destructive puppy stage. That sure makes for a nice combo for my new family. Oh and another nice thing...I'm already house trained too!! I have an amazing tiger striped pattern in my coat and show stopping amber colored eyes which make for a stunning combo!! My hairytage of the Mountain Cur and the Plott hound makes for the beautiful swirling stripe pattern of my coat, a genetic characteristic. My personality is sweet, sweet, sweet and I am very human oriented. I love giving and getting kisses and spending time with my people. Also, for a medium sized dog of 55ish lbs, I am a great snuggler!! I will wrap myself around my Foster Mum and delight in the attention!! I will stay there snuggling for as long as she has time! I walk well on leash and know how to sit and stay. I have great focus and pay attention really well. I am a people pleaser and will try to do whatever it takes to make you happy!! I get on well with most all other doggies and enjoy romping in the yard getting a good game of keep away or tag you're it going but I LOVE hoomans and haven't met a stranger yet, I'm pretty sure everyone is here just to give me lots of lovins!! :) I'm a great size to make you a pawsome action adventure type companion, whether it's going for neighborhood strolls, camping trips or hikes in the wilderness, I'm willing and ready! And then after our fun, I love my beloved snuggles by the fireplace (on the couch is fine too). I'm up for trying it all with...YOU!! If you are looking for a "dog of a different color", then look no further!! I for sure want to be your gal!!

Story
Hi! My name is Princess and I am a 5 year, possible catahoula/mountain curr mix and I weigh 49 pounds. My previous owners had to move and their new home didn't allow pets. I am a happy dog and I'm like a Walmart greeter - everyone is my friend. I know how to sit when told and shake. One of my favorite things to do is to go for walks. I try my best to behave but can tug on the leash here and there. And if I see a squirrel, I tug hard for a moment or two. I really want to chase them. I am a smart girl but with a bit of patience and training, I will be a well behaved dog. I currently live with another larger dog. We are good buddies. When I go to the dog park, I am cautious and curious around other dogs. When the leash is off, I love to run super fast. If you would like to meet Princess please fill out an application at www.rescueahart.org.

Hey y'all, it's TwoSpot here and I'm ready for some 'Changes'. A 'Happy Home' and family, a safe haven to call my very own. As 'LIfe Goes On' I know I'm gonna see 'Better Dayz' so 'Don't Stop the Music'... just let me dance along with you!!! I am around 5 months and very much a lively playful pup ready to explore...everywhere! I do great with people and the other foster pups here and of course playing with my siblings is the next best thing to milkbones. I would do fabulous with a playful 'sibling' or getting all the attention as your one and only! I come in at around 30lbs and will be a pawsome medium size of around 40-45lbs when I get myself fully growed up. What a great size for me to go on all our action packed adventures! Want to go on a stroll? Let me get my leash. Want to go hiking? Oh my, I'm for that! Want to go camping? Heck, I don't mind sleeping on the ground if you don't. Want to go down to the river? Don't worry if you forgot the swimsuits, I'll go skinny dipping!!! Want to go to the park? You better hurry, I'm already in the car waiting!! I'm ready to give it a whirl with whatever you want to try out!!! With daily exercise and playtime in, I should do great in town with a yard, out in the country or anywhere in between. I'm like that last jigsaw piece, the piece that will complete the puzzle we call life! Are you missing a piece to the puzzle of your life? A sidekick, a BFF, a constant in your life to share all your going ons? I would love to be that piece that completes YOUR life!!

Story
Meet Trenton! This good boy is the whole package! He is a mixed breed, best guess English pointer/boxer mix, and no one breed is evident. He is 2-year-old medium sized (55 pound) love bug who is gentle and adores kids. He is house trained. It does not appear he has been taught basic commands, but he should be a quick learner as he learned the doggy door ropes in a single day. The crate is not his favorite. He will go in when bribed with delicious treats and sleep quietly through the night. He mimics the vibe of the house by playing when we are active and snuggling on couch when we are quiet. He also gets along with other dogs, playing or backing off at the appropriate times. As he has settled into his foster home, he has started wrestling with the alpha dog of the house. Trenton deserves someone who will shower him with attention, car rides and rounds of fetch. He is everyone’s best friend, can he be yours? Trenton is neutered and up to date on all vaccines, flea and heartworm medication.
