Story
Meet Aura! Aura is an absolutely stunning and affectionate pooch, a delightful mix of Mountain Cur and Pit Bull. She was born around April 1, 2024, and has already captivated the hearts of many. Aura joined us in January, and upon her arrival, she faced some challenges; she was extremely fearful of men. However, with the dedicated time and effort from our loving staff, Aura has made tremendous strides in overcoming her fears and is now ready to embark on a new chapter of her life as she searches for her forever home.  This beautiful girl adores soaking up the sun, often found lounging in warm patches of light where she feels serene and content. Aura thrives on cuddles and loves to be close to her human companions, seeking out affection and warmth. Besides her love for snuggles, she has a playful side too—she enjoys her toys, whether it's a squeaky one or a tug-of-war rope, and she can often be seen happily engaging with them. Moreover, she has a particular fondness for going on walks and exploring her surroundings. These outings not only give her a chance to stretch her legs and exercise but also offer her the opportunity to gather her courage in new environments. While Aura has made significant progress, it's important to note that she can still be a bit nervous around men. She may require several meetings to build trust and feel comfortable before she is ready to transition into a new home. Patience and understanding will be key in helping her adjust.   Aura would thrive best in a home as the only pet, as she truly enjoys having all the attention directed toward her. She is particularly good with children aged 10 and older, as she appreciates kids who understand the importance of granting her personal space when needed.  If you find yourself intrigued by Aura and believe you can provide the loving, supportive environment she needs to flourish, we encourage you to reach out. Please call us at 615-446-7387 for more information, or better yet, come by and meet this wonderful girl in person! Your new best friend might just be waiting for you to take her home! ##2285526##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Lucille is a wonderful medium-sized pup with the best of both worlds: she’s past the toughest puppy stages and ready to settle into her forever routine, but she still has that playful spark that keeps life fun. Eager to please and quick to learn, Lucille thrives with gentle guidance and loves being part of the action. (Fair warning — socks are still fair game!) She’s an active girl who would love a home that enjoys getting outside. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a long walk, or romping around with bigger dogs, Lucille is always up for it. Naturally submissive and easygoing, she avoids conflict and bounces right back into play with a goofy roll and a wagging tail. When the fun is over, Lucille is all about the cozy moments. Her little snores at nap time are guaranteed to melt your heart, and she’s happiest curled up after a day well spent. With her soulful doe eyes and affectionate nature, she’s looking to you for leadership, love, and reassurance as she continues to grow into an amazing companion. Lucille will do best in a home with older children. If you’re searching for an easygoing, playful girl who will happily shower you with kisses after a day at the park, Lucille just might be your perfect match.    Crate-trained House-trained Good with big dogs/boys Good with cats  Sleeps in crate Eats in crate&#226&#128&#139 &#226&#128&#139 Medical Notes: Spayed  Vaccinated Dewormed Microchipped Maintained on monthly preventions  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 21, 2026, 12:07 pm

Story
Oakley, affectionately known as 'Dottie girl ' by her foster family, has such a sweet, lovable, big personality and is very eager to please!  This Pit/Mountain Curr mix is a total Phoenix that has risen from the fires of neglect, abandonment and even successfully raised her litter of puppies in the woods for the first 10 weeks of life. They were all successfully adopted in the Fall and living wonderful lives of love and commitment from their families.  Oakley is the perfect girl that lives with anyone and everyone that comes her way.  She embraces all people and dogs and she just lives her life with resilience and tolerance.  This girl might not be a Golden Retriever in looks but she surpasses any of the commonly accepted breeds that everyone gravitates to and wants to adopt.  Take her Pit mix package look away and please consider only her SOUL?  Trust us, you will not want to look elsewhere for the most perfect and beautiful temperamented dog.  Oakley sits on command and walks nicely on a leash.  When she meets new people, she is so very social and she embraces all other dogs, adults and children alike.  This girl loves to play dress up in cozy sweaters and loves a good chew toy. HOW FUN!???? RIGHT?  If you have children she is right there to engage and play with them and their fantasies.  This Momma dog is just a young 2yr old, 40lb sweetheart who longs to be an inside dog that can cuddle up next to you on the couch and help you melt the life challenges away.   Oakley had outsmarted many rescuers for months running around the county with her litter of puppies being. When she gave in we realized what a remarkable Mom she was and the beauty of her puppies.  All of her puppies have been adopted, but now Oakley is raising her heart and hand to say…. Pick Me Too!  She deserves a remarkable future and life because she will provide the amazing dog companion to someone that can ever be imagined.  Forget the wrapper on the package and consider the heart please…You won’t regret living a life with Oakley. Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Please mention where you life when you ask for an application:  City and state.  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Meet Echo! This little old lady still has plenty of life in her. Echo is a sweet Plott Hound mix with an estimated birthday of 12/01/2016, weighing in around 44lbs. Although Echo is sliding into her senior years, don't let her silver snout fool you. Echo is still a puppy at heart and is looking for a family that can help her stay young! Echo is honestly the best of both worlds, she appreciated a good nap in the sunshine or a relaxing stretch across a cushy bed, but you best believe this girl will go to town playing with a stuffy or a squeaky toy! Echo is a social gal, everyone she meets is her new friend. She would be a perfect fit for a daily walk around the block! She also has a great time in the company of other dogs, she's spent a lot of time being the social queen of our doggy freeroam room! Of course, if you already have any other dogs, a meet and greet is required. Echo also loves kids, but her hound instincts kick in like nobody's business when she's around cats, so a home without is a must.  Echo is fully vetted, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $75.  Interested? Call 615-446-7387 ##2264262##

Story
Meet Boone – the cutest little miracle boy around! Boone is a 4-month-old Pit/Catahoula mix with a heart as big as his story. This sweet pup came to us horribly sick with parvo, but thanks to his fighting spirit and lots of love, Boone beat the odds—and now he’s thriving, happy, and full of life! Boone truly believes everyone is a friend he just hasn’t met yet. Dogs? Cats? Kids? If it has a heartbeat (or even if it doesn’t ), Boone is ready to be besties. He’s playful, affectionate, and always eager to make new friends wherever he goes. Despite his rough start, Boone holds no grudges against the world—only joy. He loves exploring, playing, and soaking up all the attention he can get. He’s the kind of pup who will follow you around with a wagging tail and remind you daily how special second chances are. If you’re looking for a loving, resilient, all-around amazing puppy to grow up with your family, Boone is your guy. Come meet this parvo-surviving superstar and fall in love—just like we did. ##2592069##
