Story
Brodie has been a fantastic addition to our family. Unfortunately our landlord is requiring us to rehome him due to his barking volume. We do not have the money to break the lease unfortunately. Brodie is playful, energetic, and very goofy. He is touch shy at first but opens up to loving fairly quickly. He had a ton of energy and I would love to see him in a home with another dog or backyard so he could play to his hearts content. He has had professional training and follows basic commands very well. He is very vocal and tends to bark at unfamiliar noises or people entering the home. I would love to send Brodie to a home that can meet his needs better and fill him with love and care

Declan is estimated to be 4 months old and a lab mix. We do not know who his parents were so these are guesses based off experience and does not guarantee the breed. Declan came to Gigis at just roughly 5 weeks old. He did go to a foster to adopt home but they have changed their minds and he is back with Gigis, looking for his perfect forever. Declan is a smart fully vetted and neutered male. He loves to stay busy. If interested in meeting Declan, see below for application. https://airtable.com/appcqQGnAUlgNcf92/shruX8uIalTUTpdg4

Story
Razzle Taz has the most beautiful coal black eyes that pierce  your soul as he stares at you begging for some love and attention.  This boy was taken from an abusive family who were bragging to co-workers about kicking and tying him up.  The co-worker contacted Critter Cavalry and we found a wonderful foster family that is spending time loving on him and polishing his dog manners.  He is the sweetest boy and so calm and nice when meeting and greeting new people and other dogs.  He was born around the end of September in 2023 and so he is growing up fast and in to a fine dog that would love to be your sidekick in life.  He is not going to be over 38 pounds and is almost there now.  He is a Mountain Cur mix and has a slim and  sleek build and has mellowed into a wonderful pre-adult dog. Razzle Tax is super smart and curious and sensitive to your mood and expectations of him. He is a dog that you could 'do' things with.  He could do any flyball or agility classes or other training that you would want to put him through. He is a sponge for doing things and pleasing you.  He is very small actually and would work well with an active family or person even in an apartment as long as he gets his daily exercise.  He needs mentally fun challenges daily and some real walking and exercise time in a fenced backyard or on the road running with an active person. He is friendly with everyone and good with cats, dogs, children and ready to take on learning all he can about the world.  If your are interested in this Mountain Cur mix pup please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Meet Blitzen! If you're searching for a playful, silly, and loving companion look no further than this pup right here. Blitzen is an adorable Mountain Cur Boxer mix, with an estimated birthday of 12/25/2023, weighing in around 50lbs. Although his contagiously cheerful disposition leads you to believe he has known nothing but love his whole life, his backstory shows the opposite. In late November 2024, a family witnessed a driver pull into their yard and push Blitzen from their car before speeding away. Poor Blitz was rightfully terrified, and it took several days before he trusted the family enough for them to catch him and bring him into our care VIA Animal Control. In spite of police reports and locals keeping their eyes out, justice was never found for Blitzen on the heartless soul who left him to fend for himself that night. Now that Blitzen has felt not only the love of the family who saved him, but an endless source of affection from our dedicated staff and volunteers, he is non-stop love and wiggles. Blitz is outgoing, social, and overall a big goofball. He shows us all the time that he's a smart pup, he sits like a champ for a treat. While he may sometimes have the coordination of a newborn giraffe, he will give it his all to catch treats tossed to him, too. Blitz loves the company of other dogs, but as always a meet and greet is required if you already have any in the home. He doesn't mind cats, and does well with kids too.  Blitzen is fully vetted, and already neutered. His adoption fee is $175. Interested? Call 615-446-7387 ##2241323##

Story
Meet Poppers!  This adorable spunky boy wants to find a forever home. He is the cutest little guy, we believe he is a Mountain Cur mix with an estimated birthday of 05/01/2024, weighing in at a petite 30lbs. If you haven't noticed already, Poppers is pretty stinkin cute! This little guy has the most adorable button ears and the tiniest nubby tail, and on top of that his eyes will melt your heart! Like a lot of pups we meet, Poppers was pretty nervous and unsure when we met him, but we quickly found the way to his heart: other dogs! One on one, Pop still has a little bit of a nervous demeanor, but the moment you bring in another friendly dog this guy turns into the biggest goofball you've ever seen. Poppers will run, bounce, and practically dance the day away with his four-legged friends. He's never met another pup he didn't have a blast with, but of course if you already have one in the family a meet and greet is required. On top of loving other dogs, Pops does wonderfully with cats and children. Although he is most comfortable with a canine companion, Poppers is one sweet boy one-on-one too. Treats are a favorite, and this boy will give some top-notch kisses given the chance.  Poppers is fully vetted, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $175. Interested in bringing Poppers home with a friend? Ask to meet him with his roomie!  ##2241165##

Story
Introducing Hondo, the loyal and brave companion you've been waiting for! Hondo is a true good boy, showcasing his friendly nature with both people and fellow furry friends. He strikes the perfect balance between confident and respectful, making him a wonderful addition to any household dynamic. While Hondo may be a bit head shy when it comes to leashes, it's a trait rooted in his past experiences - his ears once caused him discomfort. But with patience and understanding, he's slowly overcoming this challenge. This resilience highlights his adaptable nature and willingness to grow. Crate training is a breeze for Hondo, reflecting his cooperative spirit. He's well-versed in the art of sitting and enjoys eating a peaceful meal. These traits make him a joy to train and a promising companion for both new and experienced pet owners. Hondo's ideal home is one that's lively and active, as he thrives in an environment where he can stretch his legs and engage in the joyful act of running. With a strong recall foundation already in place, he's open to further fine-tuning this skill. This warrior-dog's name is music to his ears, and he responds to it with enthusiasm. Though his recall could use a bit more polish, his eagerness to learn shines through. Hondo's adaptable and resourceful nature, coupled with his receptive attitude, make him a loyal partner for all your adventures. If you're seeking a four-legged friend who embodies both resilience and companionship, look no further than Hondo. He's ready to stand by your side and show you the depths of his affectionate heart. Story
When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!!
