Meet Lucille, a fetch-loving sweetheart ready to join a league of her own.  She is at that fun age where she has mastered the hard stuff and is ready to learn your routine. Lucille is eager to please and is a bit of a rascal, to remind you that she is still a puppy, brand new to this world! (Hide your socks.) Lucille will love being your reason to exercise outside and she can run around all day with the big dogs, too. Naturally submissive, she won’t run to a fight, and if she gets knocked over, she’ll do a barrel roll and get right back into playtime!  Lucille needs a home with no children under the age of 10.  Listen for her little snores at nap time to melt your heart, and don’t let those doe eyes fool you — she is looking to you to be her pack leader.  If you’re looking for an easy girl to shower you with kisses after a day in the park, then Lucille may be the one for you.    Crate-trained House-trained Good with big dogs/boys Good with cats  Sleeps in crate Eats in crate&#226&#128&#139 &#226&#128&#139 Medical Notes: Spayed  Vaccinated Dewormed Microchipped Maintained on monthly preventions  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 22, 2025, 10:48 pm

Declan is estimated to be 4 months old and a lab mix. We do not know who his parents were so these are guesses based off experience and does not guarantee the breed. Declan came to Gigis at just roughly 5 weeks old. He did go to a foster to adopt home but they have changed their minds and he is back with Gigis, looking for his perfect forever. Declan is a smart fully vetted and neutered male. He loves to stay busy. If interested in meeting Declan, see below for application. https://airtable.com/appcqQGnAUlgNcf92/shruX8uIalTUTpdg4

Story
Oakley, affectionately known as 'Dottie girl ' by her foster family, has such a sweet, lovable, big personality and is very eager to please!  This Pit/Mountain Curr mix is a total Phoenix that has risen from the fires of neglect, abandonment and even successfully raised her litter of puppies in the woods for the first 10 weeks of life. They were all successfully adopted in the Fall and living wonderful lives of love and commitment from their families.  Oakley is the perfect girl that lives with anyone and everyone that comes her way.  She embraces all people and dogs and she just lives her life with resilience and tolerance.  This girl might not be a Golden Retriever in looks but she surpasses any of the commonly accepted breeds that everyone gravitates to and wants to adopt.  Take her Pit mix package look away and please consider only her SOUL?  Trust us, you will not want to look elsewhere for the most perfect and beautiful temperamented dog.  Oakley sits on command and walks nicely on a leash.  When she meets new people, she is so very social and she embraces all other dogs, adults and children alike.  This girl loves to play dress up in cozy sweaters and loves a good chew toy. HOW FUN!???? RIGHT?  If you have children she is right there to engage and play with them and their fantasies.  This Momma dog is just a young 2yr old, 40lb sweetheart who longs to be an inside dog that can cuddle up next to you on the couch and help you melt the life challenges away.   Oakley had outsmarted many rescuers for months running around the county with her litter of puppies being. When she gave in we realized what a remarkable Mom she was and the beauty of her puppies.  All of her puppies have been adopted, but now Oakley is raising her heart and hand to say…. Pick Me Too!  She deserves a remarkable future and life because she will provide the amazing dog companion to someone that can ever be imagined.  Forget the wrapper on the package and consider the heart please…You won’t regret living a life with Oakley. Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Please mention where you life when you ask for an application:  City and state.  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Caddie came to JoJo's from animal control when she was very pregnant. A shelter is no place for a nervous mama to have to give birth, so they contacted JoJo's asking if we could help. Caddie had 6 puppies on September 29, 2025. Caddie has been very sweet with everyone she meets. We are guessing she is two-to-three years old and she is a nice, medium-sized dog. She currently weighs 56 lbs, but will probably lose a little of that post-baby weight and be 50-55 lbs. She does not look like she weighs that much – she isn't very tall, so she is compact. We want to find Caddie a home full of love and care and no more babies for her! If you are interested in meeting this sweet girl, please email us at jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application, or download one from our website www.jojosdoghouse.com.

Story
Meet Aura! Aura is an absolutely stunning and affectionate pooch, a delightful mix of Mountain Cur and Pit Bull. She was born around April 1, 2024, and has already captivated the hearts of many. Aura joined us in January, and upon her arrival, she faced some challenges; she was extremely fearful of men. However, with the dedicated time and effort from our loving staff, Aura has made tremendous strides in overcoming her fears and is now ready to embark on a new chapter of her life as she searches for her forever home.  This beautiful girl adores soaking up the sun, often found lounging in warm patches of light where she feels serene and content. Aura thrives on cuddles and loves to be close to her human companions, seeking out affection and warmth. Besides her love for snuggles, she has a playful side too—she enjoys her toys, whether it's a squeaky one or a tug-of-war rope, and she can often be seen happily engaging with them. Moreover, she has a particular fondness for going on walks and exploring her surroundings. These outings not only give her a chance to stretch her legs and exercise but also offer her the opportunity to gather her courage in new environments. While Aura has made significant progress, it's important to note that she can still be a bit nervous around men. She may require several meetings to build trust and feel comfortable before she is ready to transition into a new home. Patience and understanding will be key in helping her adjust.   Aura would thrive best in a home as the only pet, as she truly enjoys having all the attention directed toward her. She is particularly good with children aged 10 and older, as she appreciates kids who understand the importance of granting her personal space when needed.  If you find yourself intrigued by Aura and believe you can provide the loving, supportive environment she needs to flourish, we encourage you to reach out. Please call us at 615-446-7387 for more information, or better yet, come by and meet this wonderful girl in person! Your new best friend might just be waiting for you to take her home! ##2285526##

Story
Introducing Hondo, the loyal and brave companion you've been waiting for! Hondo is a true good boy, showcasing his friendly nature with both people and fellow furry friends. He strikes the perfect balance between confident and respectful, making him a wonderful addition to any household dynamic. While Hondo may be a bit head shy when it comes to leashes, it's a trait rooted in his past experiences - his ears once caused him discomfort. But with patience and understanding, he's slowly overcoming this challenge. This resilience highlights his adaptable nature and willingness to grow. Crate training is a breeze for Hondo, reflecting his cooperative spirit. He's well-versed in the art of sitting and enjoys eating a peaceful meal. These traits make him a joy to train and a promising companion for both new and experienced pet owners. Hondo's ideal home is one that's lively and active, as he thrives in an environment where he can stretch his legs and engage in the joyful act of running. With a strong recall foundation already in place, he's open to further fine-tuning this skill. This warrior-dog's name is music to his ears, and he responds to it with enthusiasm. Though his recall could use a bit more polish, his eagerness to learn shines through.
