Say hello to the one and only Chloe! Making friends wherever she goes is no problem for Chloe; she has a genuinely sweet personality and loves attention and getting pets. If you’ve got treats, even better! Chloe is treat-motivated and already knows “sit,” which makes her a fun and eager girl to continue training with. She does well on leash and enjoys getting out for walks, taking in the world by your side. She’s also lived with other dogs before and has experience sharing her space. When she gets some off-leash time in the playyard, her playful side really shines. Chloe would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving, affectionate dog who’s ready to be part of the family.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lucille is a wonderful medium-sized pup with the best of both worlds: she’s past the toughest puppy stages and ready to settle into her forever routine, but she still has that playful spark that keeps life fun. Eager to please and quick to learn, Lucille thrives with gentle guidance and loves being part of the action. (Fair warning — socks are still fair game!) She’s an active girl who would love a home that enjoys getting outside. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a long walk, or romping around with bigger dogs, Lucille is always up for it. Naturally submissive and easygoing, she avoids conflict and bounces right back into play with a goofy roll and a wagging tail. When the fun is over, Lucille is all about the cozy moments. Her little snores at nap time are guaranteed to melt your heart, and she’s happiest curled up after a day well spent. With her soulful doe eyes and affectionate nature, she’s looking to you for leadership, love, and reassurance as she continues to grow into an amazing companion. Lucille will do best in a home with older children. If you’re searching for an easygoing, playful girl who will happily shower you with kisses after a day at the park, Lucille just might be your perfect match.    Crate-trained House-trained Good with big dogs/boys Good with cats  Sleeps in crate Eats in crate&#226&#128&#139 &#226&#128&#139 Medical Notes: Spayed  Vaccinated Dewormed Microchipped Maintained on monthly preventions  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 9, 2026, 7:19 pm

Story
Declan is estimated to be 4 months old and a lab mix. We do not know who his parents were so these are guesses based off experience and does not guarantee the breed. Declan came to Gigis at just roughly 5 weeks old. He did go to a foster to adopt home but they have changed their minds and he is back with Gigis, looking for his perfect forever. Declan is a smart fully vetted and neutered male. He loves to stay busy. If interested in meeting Declan, see below for application. https://airtable.com/appcqQGnAUlgNcf92/shruX8uIalTUTpdg4

Story
Copper is a very loving dog. He is very active and loves being outside. We have five acres and he loves just exploring and finding squirrels to chase. He plays with other dogs and is quite fast when he runs around. His bark is pretty intimidating but he is so loving and loyal. He is a great hiker and answers when you call him so we leave him off leash a lot. He is trained on a beeping collar (not a shock collar) and responds incredibly well. We have a yard GPS collar (Halo collar) he wears in our yard since it isn’t fenced and he stays within the boundary- even when the mail comes. Looking for a home that is active- walking, hunting, hiking or that has a nice big yard for him to explore.

Story
Caddie came to JoJo's from animal control when she was very pregnant. A shelter is no place for a nervous mama to have to give birth, so they contacted JoJo's asking if we could help. Caddie had 6 puppies on September 29, 2025. Caddie has been very sweet with everyone she meets. We are guessing she is two-to-three years old and she is a nice, medium-sized dog. She currently weighs 56 lbs, but will probably lose a little of that post-baby weight and be 50-55 lbs. She does not look like she weighs that much – she isn't very tall, so she is compact. We want to find Caddie a home full of love and care and no more babies for her! If you are interested in meeting this sweet girl, please email us at jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application, or download one from our website www.jojosdoghouse.com.

Story
Introducing Hondo, the loyal and brave companion you've been waiting for! Hondo is a true good boy, showcasing his friendly nature with both people and fellow furry friends. He strikes the perfect balance between confident and respectful, making him a wonderful addition to any household dynamic. While Hondo may be a bit head shy when it comes to leashes, it's a trait rooted in his past experiences - his ears once caused him discomfort. But with patience and understanding, he's slowly overcoming this challenge. This resilience highlights his adaptable nature and willingness to grow. Crate training is a breeze for Hondo, reflecting his cooperative spirit. He's well-versed in the art of sitting and enjoys eating a peaceful meal. These traits make him a joy to train and a promising companion for both new and experienced pet owners. Hondo's ideal home is one that's lively and active, as he thrives in an environment where he can stretch his legs and engage in the joyful act of running. With a strong recall foundation already in place, he's open to further fine-tuning this skill. This warrior-dog's name is music to his ears, and he responds to it with enthusiasm. Though his recall could use a bit more polish, his eagerness to learn shines through. Hondo's adaptable and resourceful nature, coupled with his receptive attitude, make him a loyal partner for all your adventures. If you're seeking a four-legged friend who embodies both resilience and companionship, look no further than Hondo. He's ready to stand by your side and show you the depths of his affectionate heart. Don't hesitate to welcome this valiant spirit into your home! I came from a very nice couple who loved me very much, however, they were homeless. Now don't get me wrong, they took EXCELLENT care of me, but I am a BIG puppy and they were having a hard time taking me on the buses or letting me into the shelters :( So, my parents asked the rescue to take me in and find me the right home, so here I am, looking all buff- if you ask me :) I am a GORGEOUS Catahoula boy, tall, merle and HANDSOME!! My eyes tell my story and it is a good one! I have time on my hands and I am a playful and fun kind of pup. BIG puppy- 65# and growing :) I am learning my manners and am making ALL kinds of friends at the rescue, but I am waiting for the SPECIAL FRIENDS who will give me my WILDEST DREAM- A HOME! SO, look me up, don't wait... APPLY!!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)
