Story
Brantley is a 10 year old Mountain Cur mix. I adopted him in 2015 when he was 2 years old. I was told when I adopted him he was a lab mix, years later DNA confirmed he is not any kind of lab lol. Even at 10 years old, Brantley loves going on walks. He walks minimum two miles a day and would definitely still have the energy to walk more if time permitted. Since he was 7 years old he has struggled with anxiety. As he aged, he has become more anxious. He takes 60mg of fluoxetine per day and it helps him tremendously. Brantley has always been dog selective and struggles with resource guarding. Both of these behaviors have gotten worse as he's aged. He has bitten our senior Chihuahua causing 2 puncture wounds that required surgery. Brantley needs a home where he is the only dog. He is super healthy and easily has 6 more years of life to live. He deserves to finish out his golden years with a family that can give him the calm environment he deserves.

Story
Hey folks, my name is Jake! I ended up here due to my family feeling as though I needed humans who could spend more time with me than they could. I thank them for wanting what is best for me, but I also am a super sweet boy who does very well in the home when left alone! I have lived with other dogs and children, so that is no issue for me! My previous family left a note at the bottom of my paperwork that says "Jake is literally perfect and he LOVES to run and play." There is nothing bad anyone can say about me and the staff here keeps assuring me they will find me a forever home so soon! I will warn you, I like to run, so hold on tight when you put me on a leash! I have good manners, but I get super excited initially and it may take a little bit for me to calm down and get the hang of your pace! One thing that I would LOVE in my new home is a fence!!! Oh, what a dream it would be to have a huge fenced in backyard (oooohhhh, aahhhhhh)!!!! If you're in the market for a handsome hiking partner, I am the one for you!!!!

Story
Are you a lady who lives alone or maybe it is just you and your dog who would love to have a sister dog?  Our girl Sister Sybil,  loves to play and buddy up with other dogs.  She also would make a great guard dog for a lady who may live alone.  Sybil is not a barker unless an unfamiliar person shows up at your door and she is ready to warn you.  She hides from children, not aggressive to them at all, just unsure of children, so she avoids and hides from them.  She is a sweet baby girl who loves to cuddle, give kisses, run after a ball and just be close to her person.  She is house trained but will need a fenced yard when let out to potty.   She doesn’t have recall to just come back in. Our sweet Sister Sybil might be shy at first but she is submissive being a beagle/bulldog breed with brindle leg stockings that are beautiful. She is one and a half year old weighing around 35 pounds. When she knows that you love her and she understands that you just want to be kind to her she will be all about you. She has a unique little underbite that gives her a special smile and She has gold splashes on her feet, legs and undercoat as though she was splashed with God’s special paint brush. Sister Sybil is a diamond with a wonderful soul and if you feel you have a home for her,  please do not hesitate to inquire with us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com     ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
