First it makes me extremely sad to have to do this. She is a lover of people and has been trained to protect her owner. This is ver hard for me but it’s for her. She needs to run and play all the time and unfortunately I can’t do that with her most days.

The cutest, sweetest pup you’ll ever meet! Leeroy is in excellent health, with shots up to date; he’s also house trained with no past accidents in our house, and no chewing of things/furniture. He rarely barks and *lives* for his daily walks and backyard games of chase/catch. He can sit, lay down, stay

Story
I acquired Mia in Bastrop animal center. She is very intelligent and can sit, speak, shake with both feet, rollover and stop. She loves to run and play with other dogs and humans. She goes to Petsmart and DogTopia to play when I’m gone for long periods of time. Who ever adopts her is getting a gorgeous and happy dog that is trained. I call her Momma some times in a sweat voice nickname. It pains me to do this but I’m allergic to her dandruff and I’m moving and starting a new job so I have to do this. She still has her puppy eyes and very soft ears. She needs a loving home with room to run and she will also come with toys a bed and many collars and leashes. It’s a perfect scenario for someone who is ready for a dog that’s wants to play.

Story
Meet handsome Milo! He was dumped at an apartment complex in Houston, Texas. Neighbors fed him for about a week before a Good Samaritan saw him and caught him. He was very malnourished and had dermatitis. After about 6 months with his foster, he’s now healthy and ready to find a forever home! He’s kennel trained, house trained, good on a leash, and good with dogs. He’s super unique looking with his stunning black head and brindle legs. He is about 78 pounds and we believe he is a mountain cur mix.April 24, 2024, 2:28 pm

Story
A dashing, youth-minded guy is tucked inside a gentle, wise mature dog...what a perfect blend! Please allow Reilly`s age to share its privileges with you - like wisdom, his grasp of language, the gift of social graces, being easy to get along with, easy to please, and he doesn`t get worked up about life`s noise levels including vacuums and thunder. Just a little green space goes a long way with Reilly. He`ll stay fit while having fun, rolling over and kicking his legs up into nice, long stretches feels so good and a little sunbathing feels so good. He`ll encourage play, and tag along with dog crewmates at home, breaking into short sprints and having pretend chase games. Count him in! He loves easy, sauntering walks if that`s your thing. And he`s not going to leave the felines out of the equation, he`s friendly with them too if they don`t mind him hanging around in the house. He loves his animal family as much as he loves his people. He shares his treats and toys and expects lots of good back scratches for being a very good boy. He`s house trained and doesn`t mark. His wellness care during his fostership has been sponsored by Classic Canines. A full set of medical records are available - that means there`s no surprises! Are you ready to open your home to a nice guy like Reilly who needs a spot to share `the best of the rest` of his life? Reach out on his ADOPT link and start a discussion with his foster.

Story
Through no fault of his own, Frank found himself at AAC after his owner unexpectedly moved to a home where dogs are not permitted. When we met Frank, his amazing aquamarine blue eyes immediately charmed us. Frank soon stole our hearts. Frank is sweet and laid back but also full of energy for car rides, walks, running around the backyard and tugging on his rope toy. Frank is a smart dog and appears to have a good vocabulary. His favorite word is “squirrel.” He loves watching squirrels through the window. In the yard, Frank looks in the branches of each tree to see if his friends are out. He does not bark at squirrels, just watches and waits for them to come play. Frank is a good student at school. Frank appears to be a very trainable canine. He already knows sit, down, look, wait, touch and is easily learning lots more. Frank has plenty of energy and may be a candidate for agility training. Frank enjoys car rides, especially putting his nose out the window for a good sniff. Frank loves relaxing on the couch for a football game or Dog TV. Frank is a man’s man and shadows the man of the house. He enjoys napping, pets, tummy rubs and snuggling. Franks favorite treats are marrow bones and his lick pad, but he is down for any treat. Frank looks forward to sleeping late whenever he gets a chance. Frank is house-trained, as well as partially crate trained. AAC estimates Frank’s age at 4 years. Frank has plenty of energy for all the activities thrown at him.
