Story
Clyde was found under an abandoned trailer when he was four weeks old, so I took him in. Clyde is a big silly boy, he loves to chase balls, he loves to bring you something like a chew bone or a stuffed animal when you come home! He is crate trained, and actually loves his crate. Clyde loves to play with other dogs and is the sweetest boy. My husband and I did not intend to have to move to a place where we couldn’t take him, but it was beyond our control. Clyde is protective, needs room to run, and loves his people. Please consider my boy for your home.

Boris is the happiest, friendliest, most loving boy! He loves to play chase with his friends, sit for treats, and swim laps in the pool. Boris was found in a notorious dumping ground in Texas, where he was being attacked by other dogs and living in a culvert.He was too gentle to fight back, and we knew he wouldn't survive out there. He had wounds to his neck, legs, and eyes. He was a pitiful sight, and we had to make room for him at the rescue. Boris made a speedy recovery and is now ready for his forever home. He is so affectionate and grateful for his second chance! LOCATION: HOUSTON, TX. ADOPTION FEE: 550.00 Includes vetting and transportation .

Norman - Plott Hound/Heeler Mix - Male - 8 Yrs - www.twyla.org If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org Meet Norman: this delightful little guy is about 42 lbs, a neutered male Plott Hound and blue Heeler mix, we think. Norman does not have a tail and was likely born without one. He LOVES to run and play, likes toys and gets along well with other dogs and cats and loves kids of all ages. Norman walks well on leash, rides well in the car and is crate and house trained.  Norman is looking for an active home that will take the time to exercise him regularly as he really likes to run. He is quite "slippery" near the front door and will take himself for a run if that door is not watched properly, especially with kids in the house. He would love a jogging partner, that will likely satisfy his desire to run and curb his interest for solo excursion. He can be an only dog if he gets enough attention and affection from his humans, he would likely enjoy the company of another dog in the house. ***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***

Found Ryder on the side of the road outside our campsite in sugarland and he was very friendly. We took him in and moved to Kingwood. We didn’t want him to go to the pound or get ran over but we already have a big dog and don’t have the room for him. Ryder is extremely friendly, smart and has a lot of energy. We want him to go to a good home.
