Story
Molly is a mixed breed, possibly with Mountain Cur/Bull Terrier; we have ordered a DNA test and are waiting on results. -Around 3 years old -She was surrendered to a vet to be euthanized because she pottied on the floor. -High energy -Likes to go and check in on the smaller dogs; she is like the momma of all of the dogs. -Leash trained -Does well in her crate at night, doesn't make messes and goes right in -Good with other dogs, cats, and children -Well mannered, happy dog. Happy to be here! -Very friendly and outgoing -Takes her medication easily -She likes to "talk" -Was heartworm positive when we took her into rescue in November 2024. She has gone through treatment and is now negative! Video of Molly: https://youtube.com/shorts/V0l-hn7SGjU Molly is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed, has a microchip, and is on monthly flea/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $700, this is including all vetting above transport cost. Story
This is Maddie. She is a smart, sweet girl who loves to cuddle and is eager to please. She was originally a rescue that was with a husband/wife couple for three years before we got her. When we got her, the owners thought she was a lab/whippet mix but we recently got her DNA results back and she is 46% Mountain Cur (a hunting dog), then some Pitty, Staffy and Cattle Dog. Her ideal home situation would be a loving, active family with older kids OR no kids. She is anxious around younger, unpredictable/energetic kids and has given warning nips to our five-year-old and got her face once while doing this. She is mostly OK with our other dog but has recently started resource guarding her around toys or me. She is a very loving dog but we do not feel we can do what it takes to manage the safety of our daughter. A calmer environment would serve her well as she is constantly managing the kids and anxiously moving about the house. She loves fetch, scent work and learning new tricks!
