Story
Dixie is currently in foster care at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Dixie is a female, possibly Catahoula/Lab mix, and her teeth look like she just turned a year old. -Was a stray that was running the local highway -Gets along well with other dogs -Very friendly, loves attention. Likes to sit at your feet and get pets. Her video shows how loving she is within 5 minutes of meeting our picture/video volunteer. -We think she would do great with kids -Walks well on a leash -Can test her with cats upon request -Video of Dixie: https://youtube.com/watch?v=d3iqq8Kh08c Dixie is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed, a negative heartworm test (January 14th), and on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $550 total, this is including all vetting above and $250 transport cost. Story
Quick Facts  Name: Emma Age: 3 years old  Gender: Female Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Pointer Mix Color: Black & White Spotty Weight: 21kg   All About MeHello!! My human friends!! I am Emma, an energetic Pointer mix aged 3. I am a lovely girl with warm heart and brightness. However, people did not know me, and I was on the list of euthanasia at the city shelter. Fortunately, a kind rescuer saved me, and here I am. Now, I am sooooo ready to meet my lovy dovy happy family.   My PersonalityI am very bright girl with full of charming energy. I love people’s attention and being petted. When meeting new people, my tail does not stop wagging and my ears get flat with happiness. My handler said that it was so difficult to take a picture of me with proper ear shape because they got flat all the time when I was with people. I really enjoy being companion with people and I assertively approach to them to be petted. If you rub my belly, I will melt down immediately for more petting.   Social SkillsI am very good with new doggie friends. I usually say hi gently to them and then, just mind my own business. I can share treats with them and smell out each other to get to know. Though I am more interested in people and exploring new environments.   Energy and ActivitiesOutdoor activities and exercising are my favorite things. As I am a Pointer, I need to consume my energy properly. Otherwise, I may get stressed out. I also need to take my potty break outside, so regular strolling is essential for me. I may get excited when I go for walk and pull on leash a bit but this should be settle down soon with some training, for sure. If you need a companion who can enjoy a lot of energetic activities together, I am here for you.   Special NotesIf you see me, you will instantly realize how adorable I am. I have bright energy and easy-going personality. Let me spread my happy virus to you. We can have lots of fun adventures together!!   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Emma's YouTube Playlist ##2260909##

Story
Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.
