Story
Meet Kahlo! This happy 10 year old Catahoula Hound mix is searching for his forever home ideally without young kids or neutered puppies. Kids over the age of 12 are fine. With his sweet golden eyes and a personality that’s an adorable mix of spunky, awkward, and charming he’s affectionately known as the one eared wonder. Weighing in at 50 pounds, this lovable guy thrives with other dogs and has done well with cats too. He quickly warms up to new people and loves to find a cozy spot for snuggles and naps. Kahlo’s keen nose leads him on adventures during walks and when exploring treat puzzles. He’s highly food motivated, making training a breeze. Kahlo knows basic commands (sit, stay, down, circle, go to your spot), is recall trained, house trained, and up to date on vaccines. He is neutered and microchipped too. If you’re ready to welcome this sweet boy into your heart and home, apply to adopt him today!

Story
Pecas is a dog rescued from the streets of Mexico. He's almost six years old and the eighth of a litter rescued along with his mother. Pecas is a very loving, intelligent, and protective dog. He loves walks and runs and is obedient, but he needs experienced people. Pecas lives indoors but knows how to relieve himself outside and will let you know when he needs to. Although he appears to be getting along with other dogs in photos, if Pecas is overstimulated or hears a dog crying, his hunting instinct will kick in and there's no way to stop him. Therefore, it's best if he goes to a home without other dogs or animals. He has also been around children on occasion without problems, but it's not common since there are no children in my house. I would prefer a home without young children, perhaps with teenagers (15 years and older). Pecas will have a slow adjustment period to a new home, so patience and experience are needed.

Story
Hi, I’m Rocco,I’m so happy you’re checking out my page, I can’t wait to find my forever home and share all my unconditional love. I live with both dogs and cats and get along great with everyone. I’m house-trained, walk nicely on a leash, and love to play. Even though I’m a senior, I still have plenty of energy and I also knowing how to be calm and relaxed. Running is my favorite activity, so if you’re a jogger or active walker, we’ll be a perfect match. Just one not; I think tennis shoes are toys. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.
