Bella’s owner, who sadly has dementia, could no longer care for her, but Bella had been a cherished companion since she was a puppy, and it shows in her good manners and sweet nature.Bella is a laid-back girl who enjoys lounging around and soaking up the sun. She loves her daily walks but is also quite the couch potato, happy to snuggle up beside you for a lazy afternoon. Bella is house trained and leash trained, and she knows not to jump on people.One of Bella’s favorite things is giving little kisses to show her affection. She’s incredibly sweet and gets along well with everyone she meets, including other dogs. WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Cameo, a beautiful name for a beautiful gal like me. I have the sweet natured attitude that will make me a great family addition. At 2 years old, I'm also at a great age where as I'm still playful but way past that destructive puppy stage. That sure makes for a nice combo for my new family. Oh and another nice thing...I'm already house trained too!! I have an amazing tiger striped pattern in my coat and show stopping amber colored eyes which make for a stunning combo!! My hairytage of the Mountain Cur and the Plott hound makes for the beautiful swirling stripe pattern of my coat, a genetic characteristic. My personality is sweet, sweet, sweet and I am very human oriented. I love giving and getting kisses and spending time with my people. Also, for a medium sized dog of 55ish lbs, I am a great snuggler!! I will wrap myself around my Foster Mum and delight in the attention!! I will stay there snuggling for as long as she has time! I walk well on leash and know how to sit and stay. I have great focus and pay attention really well. I am a people pleaser and will try to do whatever it takes to make you happy!! I get on well with most all other doggies and enjoy romping in the yard getting a good game of keep away or tag you're it going but I LOVE hoomans and haven't met a stranger yet, I'm pretty sure everyone is here just to give me lots of lovins!! :) I'm a great size to make you a pawsome action adventure type companion, whether it's going for neighborhood strolls, camping trips or hikes in the wilderness, I'm willing and ready! And then after our fun, I love my beloved snuggles by the fireplace (on the couch is fine too). I'm up for trying it all with...YOU!! AGE/GENDER: 1.5yrs, Male BREED: CATAHOULA LEOPARD DOG TEMPERAMENT: Curious, affectionate, shy ESTIMATED ADULT WEIGHT: Medium to Large HOUSE TRAINING: Clint is house trained! CRATE TRAINING: Great! OTHER DOGS: Good! CATS: Good! CHILDREN: Age appropriate based on his deafness. ADOPTION DONATION: $600.00 HEALTH: CLINT is healthy although he is also deaf. He is altered, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: CLINT BARTON is still young, so he's playful and has a lot of energy- but he's also a very sweet and snuggly guy, who likes to chill with you. Deaf dogs require some differences in their training, but in all, it's not that hard to have a deaf dog. He is learning basic obedience and can walk well on a leash- and he can learn so much more, especially hand commands. We've also been using a vibration collar to get his attention from far away, so he can run and play, but still come to you when needed. Clint is a bit shy with new people, sometimes so much so, his lanky legs shake until he gets to know you. Walks and treats are a the best way to make friends quickly. He just wants to know what you expect of him, so clear cues and communication are critical to making him feel comfortable and to increase his confidence. In all, Clint is a wonderful, young dog who has so much to give. He just needs someone to give him a chance! Clint is available for foster-to-adopt as well, so you can see how well he can fit into your world before you commit to adopt. This is a great way to overcome the initial fears and concerns about working with a deaf dog.
