Mountain Cur puppies and dogs in Washington

Rocco has a reputation, and it’s a very good one! Ask his foster family their favorite thing about him and settle in, because choosing just one apparently isn’t possible. Easygoing, friendly, smart, a good companion, a lovely houseguest—the list keeps growing! Rocco Good Company is the kind of dog who makes you think, “Oh, there you are. You’re my dog.” Go watch Rocco on the Three Little Pitties Rescue YouTube channel to see his handsome brindle self, his good manners, and the boy his foster family can’t say enough nice things about: https://youtu.be/9lMOklycPhI There’s something so lovable about a dog who enjoys an ordinary day and that's Rocco! A little playtime with a dog friend, find a comfortable place to relax, and a full celebration when his people come home. His welcome includes happy bouncing and a little conversation, which is a pretty nice reception after a long day. Once you’re settled, he’s ready to settle, too. He has excellent “let’s hang out” energy. Rocco is fostered in a loving home with a wide variety of dogs and brings lovely manners to his friendships. He greets new dogs calmly on leash, has done well in a daycare setting, and comfortably shares attention with other pups. He’s also polite at treat time, waiting his turn while everyone gets a little something. A medium- to low-energy dog who enjoys some playtime and plenty of lounging could be a wonderful companion for him. And speaking of treats, Rocco would like to confirm that he is available for snacks. He takes them gently and happily shows off his sit, down, and shake. He’s smart, eager to participate, and very pleased when his efforts earn a reward. Teaching him something new could be a fun little part of your day together. He has the everyday outings covered, too. Rocco walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and can hop in on his own. Whether you’re heading to a park or taking a drive together, he’s happy to come along. He’s a lovely size for a companion dog, with plenty of presence beside you and a relaxed approach to spending time together. With new people, Rocco offers friendly greetings and lets the closer bond develop as he gets acquainted. Give him a little time to learn your routine and discover his favorite spot, and you’ll get to know the affectionate couch companion his foster family loves. He has been around young children and done well, so a family home could be a lovely fit. He could also enjoy apartment life, where permitted, with regular walks and time with his people. His future home does need to be cat-free. We estimate Rocco to be about three years old and a Black Mouth Cur mix , though his age and breed are our best guesses. His foster family’s enthusiasm comes from knowing him in all those everyday moments that matter- relaxing at home, spending time with the other dogs, hopping in the car, and welcoming his people back. He’s good company through all of it. Ready to make Rocco part of your everyday?
