Hi, I’m Calypso! I’ve found myself in and out of the shelter a few times through no fault of my own, and somehow I’ve become the queen of being overlooked, though we’re not quite sure why. I’m incredibly loving, well mannered, and ready for a home that sees just how special I am. I’ve been successfully introduced to other dogs and could live with the right canine companion in the future. I’m wonderfully gentle and sweet with kids of all ages, making me a great fit for a variety of families. I can be playful and energetic when the mood strikes, but I’m just as happy curling up for some serious cuddle time. I’m fairly independent and like to take my time checking things out, soaking in my surroundings before jumping right in. If you’re looking for a balanced, affectionate companion who’s been patiently waiting for her chance, I might just be your perfect match! Meet Molly Molly is an 8-month-old, 35-lb pointer mix (best guess) who’s just starting to experience what life as a real pet looks like. She was originally found as a stray and ended up at the kill shelter in Arkansas. She is now in a foster home in AR and is doing great! She’s heartworm negative, dog friendly, and people friendly. Molly has a medium energy level and very much a typical puppy learning about life. She’ll need continued training, structure, and daily mental and physical stimulation to help her grow into her best self. Walks, playtime, learning new skills, and being part of an active household will help her thrive. Molly is currently working on potty training, crate training, and leash manners. She’s eager to learn and responds well to consistency, making her a great fit for a family ready to put in the time and enjoy the puppy stage. Age: 8 months Gender: Female Weight: 35 lbs Breed: Pointer mix (best guess) Heartworm: Negative Potty Trained: In progress Crate Trained: In progress Leash Manners: In progress Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Unsure Good with Kids: Likely yes Molly doesn’t need perfection—she needs commitment, activity, and guidance. In return, she’ll offer loyalty, affection, and a lifetime of companionship. If you can foster or adopt Molly and help her make the 2/14 transport, please apply today: www.muttlife.org Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up to date dewormer, vaccinations, and heartworm prevention (age appropriate).
