Story
Meet Clark! Clark is a fun little guy who’s eager to please and listens well. He likes attention but also his own space at times.  Estimated to be about 10 years old, Clark still has playful energy but also likes to nap and relax. He takes a little bit to warm up to someone, but once he does, he will love you forever. He loves walks and loves to sunbathe. His favorite hobby is lounging outside on the deck.  He's very food motivated, but can you blame him? He is kennel trained and thrives with a safe, quiet space to call his own. Clark would prefer slow introductions to new people and new dogs. He previously lived with no other dogs but since being in foster care has lived with several different dogs . He likes having dog companions to play with and generally does well but occasionally has gotten overly excited and benefited from redirection. He has some herding instincts that we have been working on. Clark could live as an only dog, with passive smaller dogs, but might do better with a dog his size or bigger. We recommend no kids under the age of 12. Clark lived in a stable home throughout his entire life, until recently when his owner unfortunately passed away. He was adopted as a puppy and is estimated to be a Mountain Cur Mix around 10 years old. This handsome gentleman would make a great companion!Dogs adopted from Second Chance Animals of Greater Milwaukee are: vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Story
JADE IS A QUIRKY "LIVE FOR THE MOMENT" DOG WITH A SENSITIVE SOUL WHO IS SEEKING THE SAME IN A QUIRKY OWNER 💕 She is almost 1 year old and weighs 30+ pounds. She is playful and loves to snuggle. Jade is very energetic, but also loves quiet time in the evenings and puts herself to bed at night. Jade is crate trained and knows basic commands. She needs a fenced in back yard with space to run, or an owner committed to a daily exercise plan. Jade's new family should be confident and committed to ongoing training. 💚 She is smart, trainable and eager to please. Jade is sensitive to correction and needs consistent, gentle guidance, a calm voice and good boundaries. She is known to be a jumping bean and we are working on excitability and manners. For this reason, she is best matched in to an adult home or older teens. Jade may experience occasional urinary accidents when she firat transitions into your home, due to overstimulation and nervousness We are hopeful that she will outgrow since she is young, but she still needs a family that is committed to loving her no matter what. Jade lives with lots of dogs in her foster home, but she is best suited to be an only pet. If you have a submissive dog at home that you think would be a good match, we will consider that scenario case- by- case. Jade loves other dogs after proper introductions, but she can be bossy around her food and toys (with dogs, not humans). Jade is spayed, up o date on vaccines, and on monthly preventatives. For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org__________IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING A DOG WITH MUTT LIFE: PLEASE FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE WWW.MUTTLIFE.ORG Avani Needs a Foster or Adopter by November 14 to Secure Her Ride to Wisconsin! Avani is currently at Habersham County Animal Shelter in Georgia and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure her spot on the transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on Saturday, November 14, 2026. A committed home is needed for her to make the trip, and we're hopeful the right person is out there! Meet Avani Avani is a 6-month-old Lab/Curr mix weighing about 23 pounds. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender along with her sister, who has already made it to Wisconsin with Mutt Life! Avani came from a difficult situation and is now hoping for a fresh start and a family who will show her how wonderful life can be. Avani is a sweet, friendly girl who can be a little shy in the shelter. We believe she will come out of her shell once she is in a loving home and has time to settle in. She has the cutest little underbite that gives her an adorable toothy smile! It's hard not to fall in love with that sweet face. Avani gets along well with other dogs and would especially benefit from having a friendly, confident canine companion to show her the ropes and help her build confidence. She will likely do well with cats and kids with proper introductions. Avani has likely never experienced all the routines of living in a home, so she will need patience and guidance as she learns the basics. Potty training, crate training, and leash manners will all be new things for her to work on. With consistency, encouragement, and a little love, we know she has so much potential! Age: 6 months Gender: Female Weight: 23 lbs Breed: Best guess Lab/Curr mix Spayed/Neutered: Yes Potty Trained: Not sure Crate Trained: Not sureLeash Manners: Working on it Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Likely yes Good with Kids: Likely yes Avani is just a sweet little girl who needs someone to give her a chance. She may be a little shy at first, but with a loving home and another dog to help show her the ropes, we think she'll blossom into a wonderful companion. We would love to see her get the same fresh start as her sister! Could you be the one to give Avani her chance? Apply to foster or adopt Avani today! www.muttlife.org_________Adoption Process:__________Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up to date dewormer,  vaccinations, and heart worm prevention (age appropriate). Story
My name is Tucker. I am a big, lovable, and goofy puppy. I love nothing more than to get love and cuddles from my human. I also love to play outside. I am crate trained and almost completely potty trained.I would do well in a home with another dog my size. Because I am a big puppy, I wouldn't be a good fit in a household with small children. Although I love my foster home, I can't wait to find my furever home. I am being fostered in the Huntsville, AL area but am available to the right home via transport. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention. Apply at https://forrescue.net
