Story
Brownie was born in November 2024 and is about 1 year and 4 months old. She came from our family dog and a neighborhood stray. Unfortunately, we cannot keep her because our landlord's chicken farm is under bird flu quarantine, so we need to find her a loving home. She is a sweet, playful, and affectionate dog who does great with kids, other dogs, and even our cats. Brownie has a fun personality and can be a little vocal when she's excited or wants attention. She loves to play and be around people. She does like to dig, so a secure yard and someone willing to work with her would be ideal. We are just hoping to find a safe, loving home where she will be well cared for and loved.

Story
Meet a truly special girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s incredibly energetic, playful, and full of life, but also one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you’ll ever meet. She absolutely loves to cuddle and will happily curl up beside you after she’s had a chance to burn off her energy. She thrives in the outdoors and would do best in a home with plenty of land where she can run freely and explore. Being outside is her happy place, and she needs space to move, play, and release her energy. That said, she does struggle with severe anxiety. Loud noises—especially thunderstorms—can be very overwhelming for her, and during these times she may become extremely distressed and behave very differently than usual. Because of this, she needs a patient, understanding owner who is experienced or willing to work with an anxious dog and provide her with a calm, secure environment. She’s a loving companion who bonds deeply, but she’s not the right fit for every home.
