Story
This is a one year old puppy that was rescued with her littermate last May on the roadside. She is approximately 65 pounds and is trained to an underground electric fence. She loves to play fetch and seems very trainable, as she was easily trained to sit, shake, lay down and stay. However, she is a temperamental, timid dog, and has displayed some aggressive behavior. She plays well with the other large dog that she was raised with, but not sure how she would respond to other dogs or cats because she has had very limited exposure. After being separated for a while, she attacked her littermate, which may have just been her being territorial. She is sweet with all members of our family, but is a rambunctious puppy and has knocked our young grandchildren. I have an elderly mother in my home, so though we love this dog, we are needing to re-home her because she is not a good fit for our family situation. She would be best placed with an experienced dog owner.

Story
This handsome guy is Otis. We adopted Otis in July and everything was great, our other dogs got along with him and even the cat liked him. Now, our other male dog has attacked him 3 times within 3 weeks. My husband has cancer and we are unable to get Otis and our other dog to a trainer because of this. None of this situation is fun and it breaks my heart. Otis is such a dopey guy and has no clue how big he is. Otis loves walks, car rides, long naps on the sofa, chew toys, and is very smart…oh, he also counter surfs. Otis is also crate trained. If you you’re looking for an awesome buddy that will bring you tons of love and lots of laughs, Otis is your guy.

Story
A few years ago, my boyfriend got Lola from a man giving her away in a Walmart parking lot. She became my father‘s dog, and my father just recently passed away. I am unable to keep her because she is aggressive with cats. She is incredibly sweet with humans once she gets to know them, and she is also very protective of her owner. She has never had an issue with small dogs, but as of recent, there was a small incident. I know that she is grieving the loss of her owner and that may have been the reason she acted out, but due to her aggression with cats and unpredicted aggression with smaller dogs, I can’t keep her. I am trying to find the best home possible, because I still love her dearly.

Story
Gunner was adopted 4 years ago and is now 8 years old. He usually weighs between 60-65 pounds. He's an extreme licker and loves all humans. He loves tug of war and fetch. Gunner suffers from extreme separation anxiety and does not do well with crates/kennels. He will either find a way to destroy them or hurt himself trying. He has honestly impressed me with his escape artist acts. He gets along with other dogs once he is used to them, but he has a hard time controlling his excitement for the most part. He would best be homed with someone with experience with these issues and/or home the majority of the time. He gets seasonal allergies and requires medication for that, otherwise he is an extremely healthy and happy dog with quite the personality. I am relocating and cannot bring him with me to my next location. I really want to avoid a shelter so if anyone could please give him a good home we would be forever appreciative!

Story
Abby is healthy w/a glorious shiny black coat of the softest fur. A rescue - she's made great progress in our home building her confidence & learning new skills/boundaries. She's very loving/affectionate. She sleeps well in her crate at night & walks well on a leash. She's food motivated, a quick learner-already knows sit and sits before she is let out to potty and again before she comes back inside. She's also learning to sit / wait till invited to eat her meals. She is likely fully potty trained (we’ve had zero accidents) but we ensure she gets regular potty breaks till we're sure she's 100% trained. She has no issue getting bathed. Abby is a very sweet/good girl-only reason we need to rehome her is that she and our resident dog are incompatible: Our resident dog is older and very submissive. Abby is simply too energetic for him and he has become very stressed with her in the home. We'd love to find her a loving home, perhaps w/another young dog with a matching energetic play style.

Story
I found Brewster on Craigslist in 2020. His previous owner threatened to ditch him and his sweet face broke my heart. When we met, he instantly jumped in my car but was clearly afraid of everything/everyone. He was malnourished and had signs of abuse and mistrusted men but he loved me and was so sweet. He’s improved greatly over the last 4 yrs & is physically healthy but he still has serious anxiety and behavior issues that escalated when I went back to work in-office. He’s often too protective/aggressive in guarding our house. He’s on behavioral meds to help him stay calm but can be unpredictable; my other dog, who used to be his bff is now afraid of him after too many snaps/growls. He’s recently snapped at me bc someone rang the doorbell. Brewster needs a calm, loving home ideally in the country where he has space to run and can avoid busy streets & doorbells. Please give him a chance. He deserves a great life where he feels safe and loved by a patient owner who loves to cuddle

Story
Cooper was a rescued as a puppy in November of 2021. His mom was hit and killed my a car, and the current owners were unable to take care of all of the puppies. Cooper was bottle fed until old enough to digest solid foods, then weaned onto puppy chow. Since then, cooper has grown up in a loving home. He has lots of doggy friend in his current home. We have too many dogs though and it is proving to become an issue. Not with fighting or anything, just cost wise. Cooper has a unique and playful personality. He loves to cuddle and run. He plays fetch and runs laps around our yard. He needs and deserves a good home.

Story
Prince is very loving and loves to be close to his person. He is estimated to be about a year and half old. He has been in a crate but will sing to you while in there. He doesn’t like to be alone so he would do well with another dog to keep him company. He is working on house training and will need someone with the time and patience to complete this training. He was rescued from a hoarding situation and therefore has not been properly trained. He needs someone to teach him how to be a dog. But he will be your closest companion for life. Will come with grate, toys, bed, and food.
