Story
Mulan is a 2 year old mixed-breed sweetheart. She was adopted from a ranch that had many other dogs and we just knew she wasn’t getting the love she deserved. That is when we brought her into our lives and she became our big baby. We are looking for a family that will give her the attention she needs and a home with enough space for her to run around. She is energetic when it is time to exercise (go on walks, play fetch with just about anything you can throw) and play with others. When it’s time to rest she’ll be lazy and either lay out and bathe in the sun (even in the summer!) or cuddle up to you like a big baby, wanting belly rubs and to give kisses. She is well potty-trained and will definitely let you know when she needs to go. And when it is time for bed she will go to her kennel and curl up in her blanket until morning.

Story
Lucy is about 4 years old and is a sweet, gentle girl who forms strong bonds with the people she loves. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys being close and spending time with you, though she does take a little time to warm up to new people and situations. She can be skittish and cautious by nature, something she’s been like since she was very young. Lucy does well with other dogs and would ideally go to a home with another dog, as she’s always had a canine companion (we are keeping our older dog). She’s used to being around kids, though she may be shy at first until she gets to know them. If she’s very uncomfortable, she may give a small growl as a warning, but she has never snapped or bitten anyone, including at the vet. She is kennel trained and finds comfort in her crate. Lucy knows Sit, Stay, Spin, Wait, and Shake. Her kennel and some of her favorite toys will come with her. She received all her early-life vaccinations and will need an updated rabies shot. Happy to answer any Qs

Story
We adopted Murphy from the humane society a year and a half ago. She’s a love bug. She wants all the attention in the world. She is very very sweet. She’s also VERY excitable. She’s never shown any aggression to a person or dog, but if you bring a stranger into the house she will want to jump on them and becomes hard to corral. Same when taking her on a walk. She tugs a lot, will try to get out of her leash to go meet people and dogs. I am of the belief she can be trained out of this behavior but it can be a lot. We are relocating and apartment living with our older dog and can not take her with us after a lot of deliberation over the options. I am looking for an experienced dog owner who understands their behavior, she will need hands on work. But she will love you hard and fast. I am also seeking someone with space for her, ideally a yard, but isn’t a deal breaker. She’s a good girl with a good heart, we just can’t keep her at this time. She is well behaved in the home.

Story
Sparky is a very smart, energetic, and playful boy that is always up for a walk, hike, or even car rides. He can jump pretty high so definitely needs a fence over 5 feet tall or he will become an escape artist. Even though he is high energy, he is quite the cuddlebug too. Likes to sit on your lap during calm times or just be touching you. Sparky has a protective instinct that manifests as barking when a stranger is at the door but when you let the person in, he makes quick friends.. He is a bit of a rough and tumble type of dog so better for older kids and adults. He has always reminded me of a mini pinscher in temperament and looks.

Story
Rhaea is a 5 year old husky/cattle dog mutt that we adopted as a puppy from the reservation. We have had her and our other older dog since they were puppies but for the past 1-2 years my older dog has been attacking Rhaea unprovoked. We have tried training but the fighting has worsened. We worry for the safety of Rhaea and our toddler. We are heartbroken because we love Rhaea so much. We want to find her a truly loving home. She is such a sweet, quirky and loving dog. She loves going on walks, loves to hold your hand when you pet her and loves potato chips. She is generally good around dogs, there are some she doesn’t like. We used to take her to daycare and she was super social there. Some kids she will bark at but has been good with our toddler and preteens in our neighborhood. She has not been around cats

Story
Crusty is 4 year old Heinz 57 variety dog. He was being fostered through a rescue that has since become defunct but his foster kept him to find him a good home on their own. Crusty originally came to his foster in a poor state. He was covered in cigarette burns and was very shy. He has healed 100% since that time and has become a great dog. He is very shy at first and would need a few days to decompress wherever he goes. He is kennel trained and housebroken and currently lives with other dogs. He gets along with other dogs but can be a bit pushy with male dogs. He does however love his lady friends. He’s not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he will make you laugh. It is unknown how he would do around kids or cats but I feel it would be better for him to go to home with older children who know how to be gentle with him or a no child home. He would also make a great only pet since attention is his favorite thing. He would love nothing more than to be your lapdog.
