Story
My name is Penny and I was found with my brother Coco in a local landfill. I was around a lot of heavy machinery that made lots of noise and as a result that makes my very scared when I hear loud noises like fireworks and thunderstorms so I need someone who will be patient with me. I was very happy with my dad and playing with my brother I am not leash trained or crate trained because my dad had two knee replacements and had trouble moving around but he gave me lots of love and pats. Unfortunately, my dad passed away suddenly, and I have had his friend taking care of me and my brother. But he has to move now, and the new place cannot accept us, so we need a new home. Hopefully one that can take us both and is patient with us. I have all my shots and am good on vaccinations until 2027 and rabies until 2029. I do get nervous about riding in cars and going to the vet so I was given trazodone to help calm me down. i don't have any health issues that require special medication or food.

Story
Coco was found at a local landfill close to where heavy equipment was operating which has made him shy and anxious. He is a curious and gentle dog and wants to be close to his human while he isn't sunning himself in the yard. Due to his background he would need someone experienced and patient to help him thrive. His previous owner passed away and where I am moving, I cannot bring him and his sister. He does have some food issue as he prefers to eat his sisters food first then his own. He has not shown food aggression with people just his sister but feeding them separately has solved that problem. He is a low to moderate energy level dog and is happy chasing his sister around the yard. I don't know how he would do with other animals or children as he has not been around them. He is house broken as long as he has access to the yard. He does have travel anxiety which the vet has given him a mild sedative (trazodone). It would be ideal to be rehomed with his sister.

Story
Loki loves to walks and going on hikes. He plays fetch and can be a super sweet yet shy boy. He is a goofball and has a unique howl when prompted. He also isn't much of a barker. He currently lives with our other dog and does well with her. However, he has not been around other dogs outside of our household, so we can't confidently say how he would do with unfamiliar dogs without a proper introduction. He does well with older children, but we are specifically looking for a home without babies or young children. Since bringing our baby home, Loki has growled at our baby on a couple of occasions. We don't want to ignore the warning signs or put either Loki or our baby in a situation where something could happen. We feel that finding him a home better suited to him is the responsible choice. We would love for Loki to go to someone who will genuinely make him part of their family

Story
Molly is a sweet girl who loves to spend time with people. She does struggle with cats so is best suited for homes without cats. She is roughly 6-6.5 years old.My brother found Molly about 4.5 years ago in a strip mall and my mother adopted her. Unfortunately my mother passed away from cancer. I am fostering her now but I am unable to keep Molly long term as I already have two other dogs. She has attacked cats in my mother’s care. However she is very gentle and sweet with humans. She is currently in Northern California.

Story
We have had Simba since he is a puppy and he is doggy door trained. He would be best suited as a one dog household or with medium to bigger dogs to play with. We have had some behavioral issues with Simba biting our little Chihuahua and cat. And being 90% Chihuahua he likes to nip at new guests in our house. Once he gets to know them he is fine but as a household of 5 with 3 boys we have new people coming in/out daily and it's too much risk. He is a great companion and wants to be a lap dog if he could. This is a very hard decision for our family so we hope to find a good home for him.

Story
We received Mouse as a puppy from a friend in 2021. She is an albino pit mix, maybe a little dalmation in there. She is a nanny dog to children. Loves to play. Still likes to chew on toys and squeakers. She prefers to sleep with the kids, but if a door is left open, she might have an accident in the house overnight. Whines if you try to crate her.
